  2. A lot of talk and anticipation leading up to this event. I feel very proud of myself and was happy to exhibit the past three years of dedication to skiing and the hard work to become a skier in my own way. I did what I came to do, and I wanted to ski a strong composed run, no matter what. The progression Piper and Veronica showed out there is monumental. After getting my first runs in Corbet’s out of the way, I’m definitely hungry to compete again. Also— the snowboarding ladies made it look too fun 👀 might have to try dropping in sideways next year.   1. I don't fall very often, but when I do I make it count. Before you start telling me how to buckle my helmet properly, it was clipped on securely but got ripped off in the fall. The plastic clip snapped off the strap. Any number of bad luck reasons why that happened but in the end I just got lucky. I was completely fine and skied miles out of the backcountry afterwards. I've put this clip online before but never on Instagram because of the 💩 storm I figured it could cause when it inevitably gets subjected to the masses. So...   2. Only a couple more months till we're back to our regularly scheduled program. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 for another solid winter. This is easily one of the best lines @mammothmountain to score fresh. Just gotta take speed over the air and aim closer to the tree than the rock. The lift tower way down there is a good spot to line up with. The ol hike up from chair 10 proved to be the lucky choice this day.
