  3. The beginner-friendly Fujifilm guide I wish I had when I first started. :) When I first got my Fujifilm, I was so confused by recipes. People would talk about film simulations, white balance shifts, dynamic range, highlight + shadow settings… and I genuinely had no idea what any of it meant. I remember thinking, wait… what are we even changing? 😅 So one afternoon I went down a deep dive, started experimenting, and slowly began figuring out how each setting actually changes the feel of a photo. Ever since then, building recipes has become one of my favorite parts of the creative process — it’s such a beautiful way to shape mood, light, color, and atmosphere before you even start editing. I put this together as a little guide I can come back to whenever I need it, and if it helps someone else who’s just getting started, that makes me so happy.

It’s actually very easy to make! 🤍 ✨ DIY Body Butter ✨ Ingredients: • ½ C solid unrefined, Organic Coconut Oil • ½ C Organic Mango Butter (or Shea Butter) • ½ C Organic Jojoba Oil (in warmer weather, use less for thicker body butter) • 5 drops Idaho Blue Spruce essential oil • 10 drops Neroli or Geranium essential oil • 15 drops Tangerine essential oil Directions: • Place coconut oil and mango butter in a bowl and whip with a handheld or stand mixer until fluffy and smooth. • Slowly add in the jojoba oil, then the essential oils, mixing as you add.
