If you’ve ever felt compression in the lower back or struggled to lift the chest, this is my favourite way to practise — using blocks 🙌🏼 The blocks give you something to press into, helping you lift through the heart and chest rather than forcing depth into the backbend. It becomes less about how high you go, and more about creating space, strength, and openness through the front of the body. A good reminder that support doesn’t make a pose easier — it often helps you feel it properly. noodleasana. 🤷‍♀️ but forreal tho, spinal waves are the bee’s knees. there was a time when i thought it was just some showy way for instayogis to demonstrate their bendy spines (insert eyeroll to mask my deep seated envy).
