The most UNDERRATED hike in California🤯🥾 #ColumbiaPartner This might be one of the most popular backpacking spots in California, but it also is one of the most underrated day hikes! It is very hard to get a wilderness permit for camping, and we struck out in the lottery, so we decided to just do it all in one day. Not only is this already a challenging trail, but we were also hiking above 11,000 ft altitude! 😮‍💨 This was a LONG day on the trail, so we’re glad we had our layers and packed enough water (3-4L minimum). We wore our @columbia1938 Blackcomb Ridge 18L backpack which had more than enough space for everything we needed. ⭐️ FINAL STATS: 17.04 miles 4,281 of elevation gain 11 hours (with breaks) This was one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve ever done, but it is not to be underes
