Here are the rules I wish someone told me sooner about foundation 😅 1) skin prep matters wayyyyy more than you think. I know yall are tired of me saying this but prep your skin with at least a moisturizer before applying foundation. Your skin literally loses moisture the more we age so if ya want a flawless base and non cakey makeup do your skin prep 💦 2) undertone can make or break your look! If your foundation never looks quite right it’s probably the undertone of the foundation!! Here’s the quickest breakdown: • Cool undertone = pink, rosy, bluish tones • Warm undertone = golden, peachy, yellow tones • Neutral = mix of both Always match your shade to your chest and neck-not your wrist!!! 3) if you want more coverage use a firm dense brush and if you want less coverage use a beauty ble

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup💫 More than 5 years ago, Double Wear was one of my first luxury foundations and I remember it being remarkable. Fast forward today, I can confidently say that with this updated version, it still remains excellent. The matte finish is intact after a whole day of wear and it truly keeps the oil at bay without so much as a single crease or crack, especially around the eye area. The formula is buildable but I prefer to use just one layer for a more natural look. I find that it works well with a makeup sponge but if I am in a rush, just using my fingers to blend it in is totally fine and I absolutely love that!
