Working obliques is not a bad thing and it’s very unlikely your obliques will grow so much that it makes your waist appear ultra wide but I want to emphasize not to do oblique focused workouts because it’s counterproductive towards our goal. 4. Eat right, you need to eat in a calorie deficit. you can’t lose weight in one specific spot but you can get a smaller waist by losing overall fat. women try to reach 18-20% body fat and men
