A quick 5-minute braid refresh ✨ Just a light mist of leave-in and a touch of gel to smooth everything down. These aren’t the best braids in general, and the human hair is especially frizzy, so it’s been an interesting challenge figuring out what actually works. I’ve been using the @livingproofuk Leave-In Conditioning Spray [gifted] and @curlsmith_official Curl Defining Styling Soufflé. Both a little pricey to use on braids, but since the curls are human hair I plan to reuse, I figured I should take care of them properly 😅 At first, I tried using just leave-in, but it wasn’t enough. This hair drinks up product yet still feels limp and sticky if I go too heavy, so finding the balance has been a bit of trial and error.
