WHISTLER by Ann Pathett โ™กThank you to my friends at @harperbooks #harperbookspartner for the gifted print copy and @harperaudio for the gifted audiobook! โ‡ข Print + Audiobook Review โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ ๐ŸŒฟMy Thoughts โœจI canโ€™t tell you how much I absolutely loved this book. I need to start by telling you that you canโ€™t let the horse on the cover scare you away if youโ€™re not into horses. Yes, thereโ€™s a horse in the book, and yes, itโ€™s important to the story, but itโ€™s not the focal point. This is largely an NYC set story, and whether you love horses or could take them or leave them, YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS BOOK (and youโ€™re going to love the horse, I promise!) โœจAt its heart, this is a story about friendship, family, love, loss, memory and the connections that shape our lives. The author just so effort

Review | Whistler by Ann Patchett Thank you @harperbooks for the gifted ARC. What the book is about: When Daphne Fuller and her husband, Jonathan, visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, they notice an older, white-haired gentleman following them. The man turns out to be Eddie Triplett, her former stepfather, who had been married to her mother for a little more than a year when Daphne was nine. Now fifty-three, Daphne hasnโ€™t seen Eddie in many years, not since the fateful event that changed the course of both their lives. When they meet again, time falls away. Although their relationship was brief, it had a profound impact on both of them, and now that they are reunited, they have no intention of being separated again. My thoughts: Ann Patchett is an author I trust for great storytelling. Wh
