✨ Handmade Ruffle Cushion Tutorial ✨ I’ve been gifted the gorgeous Yala Stripe Fabric in Tulip from Linwood’s new Maru range… and it’s truly a dream to sew with 🤍💗 Here’s what you’ll need to make your own ruffle cushion: 🪡 A cushion (mine is 80cm x 20cm) 🧵 0.5m of your main fabric 🎀 0.5m of a contrast fabric 🔐 A zip 🧶 A sewing machine My cushion is 80cm x 20cm, so I cut my front + back to match, and made a 4m ruffle (2x the outside measurement for that full, swishy edge!) 🎀✨ I still have half a metre left… do I make more cushions, a Christmas stocking or a lampshade? 🤔💗 Let me know what you’d choose!

Our new dining area ☀️ it made sense to have our dining table here because of the original window, so we had some seating built and fitted with the kitchen. I added bolsters in front of the window, and a café curtain to block our view of the bins 😅 I found this @linwood_fabric* Gwendolyn fabric at the last minute and fell in love with it instantly! @pucciupholstery made the perfect seat backs and cushions - the blue velvet piping (Linwood Omega velvet in Pool) is just so lovely. ad:pr discount | Let’s talk PATTERN 🤩 no one does it quite like @meganforbesinteriors using @linwood_fabric. We used a mixture of textures & colours with a tight palette to bring the room together. I love a footstool & this particular footstool is HelterSkelter in Ink velvet (it also comes in linen if you wanted curtains too) The room is almost fished … never quite got round to putting the shelf up behind the sofa this time - so it’s still on the list Far too busy sorting the cushions (sorry if you’re an even Steven - I’m more pile em up in no particular order) & styling the footstool 🤣 Gosh it’s so nice having somewhere comfy to rest your feet instead of the coffee table 🥰. ad ✨Sofa Reveal✨ when I saw those curves on Facebook Marketplace, I saw the potential immediately and she’s had a full glow up in @linwood_fabric ‘Dimity’ in the colour RUST. Thank you Linwood for helping me give this secondhand find a brand new lease of life. I covered the legs in fabric, as they were a dark brown finish that didn’t suit the final look. I love that with this sofa, I can swap the scatter cushions out over the seasons, perhaps having blue and white linen for summer, and Dimity and a kilim in the winter? And florals in the spring! Agh so many amazing choices. This one is special to me because it’s going to be for my first home… front door dependant! FABRIC CHOICE REVEAL 😍 I’ve decided to upcycle an old piece of furniture that I bought on @facebook Marketplace for a bargain £75. I’ve collaborated with @linwood_fabric (Ad) on my fabric choice and am delighted to be collaborating with @thecambridgeupholsterer to show me how a sofa can be transformed. My house has a lot of floral patterns throughout and it was always my plan to go a bit funkier with my fabric choices being in some contemporary patterns to cut through all the floral. Ad our underbed storage situation just got an upgrade ✨️ Forever I have wanted a floral headboard upholstered in a drop dead gorgeous fabric, and my dreams just came true with this upholstered headboard and storage ottoman bed frame from @buttonandsprung upholstered with @linwood_fabric Blythe patterned fabric. Just look at those CUUURRRVES 😍❤️💋 This headboard is so extra beautiful that it couldn't fit under the wall panelling shelf so I redesigned the bedroom layout to put the bed against the opposite wall and let it SING like it deserves to. The beautiful @linwood_fabric has the most exquisite range of prints, such classic designs but with fun modern twists. I’ve saved so many to use when designing our new home! A little ‘before’ peak at my daughter’s room here, I’m planning the design around this beautiful cushion in the Hester fabric. Welcome back to my ✨second hand sofa transformation ✨ part 4 - cushion making. Fabric: @linwood_fabric “Dimity” in ‘Rust’ #sponsored The sofa came with 2 lovely (but dusty!) plump feather seat cushions and 3 large feather scatters. The seller gave me 2 smaller hollow-fibre cushions which I don’t love the feel of so I swapped them for 2 of my own scatter cushions, which luckily were exactly the same size as the others. I gave the cushions a good airing outside and a quick vacuum- they feel as good as new now! I didn’t cut the piping for the cushions on the bias (I know I do in the video.. but that piping was for the outside arms, I must have forgotten to film cutting the cushion piping!) but I wanted the lines to all match up. I will post the final reveal next.. I also realised I didn’t lov

✨Bed reveal✨ [Ad|gifted] I’m absolutely in love with this bed – it’s been a dream to have an ornate headboard 🥹 Huge thanks to @buttonandsprung and @linwood_fabric for making it happen. The quality and craftsmanship gone into making this bed is second to none. Choosing the right fabric was a journey! I wanted something that would both stand out and blend seamlessly with the rest of the space. I chose ‘Ocean’ from the Helter Skelter Velvet collection at Linwood, it is everything! It’s bold, yet still complements the blue tones in the wallpaper perfectly. Who thought id choose blue? 💙

My new little reading nook in our bedroom. I came across this incredible Wiggle fabric from @linwood_fabric and knew it would be perfect in this room. I also knew just the man to make this project come to life! Conor from @sofasogood.ie went about making this stunning chair based on the Linwood design. I’m so happy with how this chair has turned out, the upholstery weight fabric is such a luxurious finish with the chenille wavy pattern running through it. It looks great on this armchair and would be even more stunning on a sofa! The fabric is called: Tango Weaves II collection - Wiggle in Emerald.
