Sunday’s are for roast dinners and scrolling through @lookfantastic, right?🤭 ⠀ Obviously, I don’t need anymore skincare, but I was thinking of picking up some haircare bits from @kerastase_official whilst they have some good offers on, as I’ve been eyeing up their products for ages 👀 I blame @byemmaleah 😆 So, if you have any recommendations, I’m all ears 👂 I’m thinking possibly just a shampoo and conditioner to start with, what do we reckon?👀 Have you tried anything from @kerastase_official? Let me know your faves, or absolute must-trys from the brand! I’m a sucker for a fancy shampoo/conditioner 😇 AD Info: contains PR samples ✨

The skincare products I’m *actually* using right now🧴 ⠀ Life has been lifeing recently and I feel like I’m so behind with everything 🙃 I’m massively slacking on the review front and emptying products before I’ve even had a chance to mention them. So although I pretty much stick to the same skincare routines day in, day out, things have switched up quite a bit recently with so many products coming to an end at the same time. There’s lots of reviews in the pipeline (when I eventually get around to typing them out 🥴), including some well overdue updates and another set of skincare empties, but any questions, ask away! For now, I thought it might be helpful to run through what I’m *actually* using at this current moment, and show you where each product sits in my routine. Is there anything here you’re desperate to hear more about?👀 AD Info: contains PR samples ✨

Ad/pr products. You can use all the fancy serums and creams, but unless you are cleansing your face properly you might as well just pour them down the sink! Years and years ago I’d become lazy with my skincare. I’d use a dreaded face wipe to “cleanse” my skin, add a serum and a moisturiser, and expect miracles. I was always baffled why my skin still looked dull and lifeless. When I started following @carolinehirons the lightbulb moment happened, and I ditched the wipes for a proper double cleanse, and the difference was noticeable in just a few days. Just to be clear, a double cleanse doesn’t have to mean two different products. Quite often I will use the same cleanser twice, just make sure if you do it isn’t something too harsh. My preference is usually an oil or balm for a first cleanse, followed by a cream, gel, or milk formula. The first cleanse removes makeup and spf, the second properly cleanses the skin ready for other products. The only time I might do a single cleanse is if I’ve been inside all day and haven’t worn any spf or makeup. Any other time a double cleanse is a necessity. I very rarely use a separate eye makeup remover, the balms and oils I use do the job perfectly. However if you have a lot of waterproof makeup on it might be something you need. If you’re still using wipes, do yourself a favour and ditch them right away. Trust me, you will thank me later! Just a side note….. I don’t own any makeup removing wipes….. I had to improvise for the video and wave a fabric stain removing wipe 😂. Definitely don’t wipe that over your face! #doublecleansing #skincareroutine #eveningskincareroutine #carolinehironsmademedoit #ditchthewipes #skincaretipsandtricks
