  3. How to enjoy the Turkish Coast in summer 🍉 In the summer the Turkish coast gets very busy — but if you plan your trip correctly, it can still feel peaceful and very special. 1. It’s totally fine to stay in a resort town — just be smart about where you book You can absolutely stay in popular places like Ölüdeniz or Fethiye. The key is choosing a quieter boutique or family-run hotel with a garden, pool, or some outdoor space to relax in during the hottest and busiest hours of the day. Your schedule simply has to match the rhythm of the coast the opposite way: • beaches in the morning or evening • afternoons for relaxing, swimming at the hotel, reading, slow lunches, or exploring by car This is why a hotel with some territory matters so much in summer. 2. Stay in the mountain villages for a quieter experience This option is for the slightly braver travellers :) Mountain villages around the coast are much quieter, cooler, and more peaceful in summer — but having a car becomes completely non-negotiable. The beach will no longer be “walkable,” but in return you get the freedom to explore a different bay every day and experience the coastline much more deeply. In the Fethiye region, villages like Kayaköy and Faralya offer a much slower and calmer atmosphere compared to the resort areas. Main mistakes to avoid: 1. Don’t book a tiny apartment in the town centre The price difference is often not dramatic enough to justify the loss of comfort. In peak summer, having no garden, pool, or peaceful outdoor space can become exhausting very quickly. 2. Be careful with large group boat tours In smaller holiday towns they can be fun. But in places like Ölüdeniz, where dozens of boats leave at the same time, the experience can feel very crowded. Check my website for boat recommendations. 3. Don’t skip the farmers markets One of the best parts of summer here is actually very simple: cold peaches, cherries, tomatoes and watermelon waiting for you in the fridge after the beach. Most hotels and villas have a refrigerator, so take advantage of it. Turkish summer fruit is part of the experience. #traveladvice #fethiye #turkiye #фетхие #турция

  1. We train like athletes. We push through fatigue, memorize counts, perfect shapes. But when the lights go up… it’s not the technique they remember. It’s the story. The silence between the steps. We’re living in a time where everything moves fast. Performances are clipped down to 10 seconds. Choreography is ranked. Bodies are judged in pixels. And somewhere along the way, we started mistaking precision for presence. The truth is, dance is not a sport. It’s not a medal. It’s not a viral trend. It’s a language for what the heart can’t say out loud. In an era where dance sometimes feels like a race, we have to remember: Art matters. Storytelling matters. Technique should serve the story — not steal the spotlight from it. It should be the bridge, not the destination. Because dance isn’t just about turnout or jump height. It’s about what lives inside the movement. And what’s left behind in its echo. Dance is where every art form meets. To bring something like Romeo and Juliet to life… you don’t just memorize choreography. You enter a world. A world shaped by music, lighting, paintings, architecture, costume, silence. A living, breathing canvas — and for a moment, you are the brushstroke. But the most powerful part of it all? It’s not the set. Not the music. Not even the steps. It’s you. The human being behind the movement. The heartbreak you’ve known. The love you’ve lost. The quiet grief you carry. The joy that rises in your chest for no reason at all. Each of us steps on stage with an entire lifetime inside us. And no two interpretations will ever be the same — nor should they be. Your imagination, your softness, your fire, your scars — they are not distractions from the choreography. They are the reason we believe it. Technique is your foundation. But emotion… Emotion is the reason anyone stays in their seat and doesn’t look away. Letting yourself show real emotion on stage — not forced drama, but raw, unfiltered truth — is terrifying. But that’s when what we do becomes art. • • #ballet #balletdancer #dancerlife #balletworld #foryou #performance #ballerina #dancersofinstagram #viralreel #foryou

  2. 🎭 This post is here to entertain — with a pinch of truth, and maybe a moment of reflection along the way 🙃 Not just for dancers — everyone can relate to the egos, wounds, and masks we see in our professions. Artists often carry big egos. Maybe we need to. Maybe it’s armor. But here’s the truth: What people often see as ego might actually be: • A coping mechanism for pressure • A shield against criticism • High standards mistaken for arrogance • Or hard-earned confidence, shining through in a misunderstood way 💬 In my experience, true confidence is quiet. It’s not performative — it’s peaceful. And when someone is rude, arrogant, or cruel… they’re probably hurting even more than you know. ⸻ 🩰 To dancers entering a company: Please remember — it’s not always personal. And to educators: many of us chose this career because of unresolved self-worth wounds (whether we realize it or not). That means the responsibility on teachers and directors is enormous — not just to shape bodies, but to guide minds with care. We don’t just need ballet pedagogy. We need emotional education — therapy, communication skills, real leadership. ⸻ But here’s the harder truth: A bigger responsibility falls on us — the dancers. To survive a sometimes toxic system, we need: • A support system • Tools to regulate our nervous system • And ideally… a true friend ✨ And once you begin to understand all this — something shifts. When someone is unkind, unfair, or unprofessional, you stop taking it as a personal attack. You begin to see the unhealed child behind their behavior — and respond with compassion instead of confusion or reactivity. You stop internalizing the harm. You start protecting your peace.
