  1. Não me parece que este seja um tema que se encerre em duas surfadas. Aliás, acho que é um tema que não se encerra: expande-se, complica-se, é difícil de delimitar. E isso é lindo. E acho ótimo que a discussão continue nos comentários, mas lanço o desafio: bora conversar sem nos insultarmos uns aos outros? Não quero, nem consigo, ditar o que é a cultura portuguesa. Mas a trajetória do fado mostra-nos que esta mistura que causa tanto alarme é, afinal, muito castiça. E podemos encontrar mais exemplos nas nossas próprias trajetórias. O meu caso: Uma boa parte daquilo que faço é promover a nossa cultura. Já gravei uns 48 episódios só sobre cultura portuguesa, para um camião de canais de televisão, aviões, festivais nacionais e internacionais, redes sociais, etc. O plot-twist? Os meus pais são brasileiros. Outro plot-twist? Antes de a minha família ter ido para o Brasil e depois voltado, ela esteve por trás da primeira marca de vinho do Porto. E mais um plot-twist? O nome dessa marca é alemão. Podia continuar, mas deu para perceber: a cultura, quem a faz e quem a vive está sempre a mudar. Se olhares para a tua história, aposto que também vais ter umas surpresas destas. Isto parece-me algo que nos enriquece, e não o contrário. Então, insisto em perguntar: porque é que isto nos incomoda tanto? Ou melhor, será que é mesmo isto que nos incomoda? Digam de vossa justiça (com carinho!)

  2. Acho que pouca gente tem noção de que Carcavelos, quando está bom, é uma das melhores praias para surfar do mundo. Sou suspeito porque é o único lugar onde me sinto realmente em casa mas acho que tem uma formação extremamente especial e, em dias bons, faz isto - ondas múltiplas a varrer a praia. Em dias bons, também, é quase impossível ver ondas incríveis sozinhas e o nível de gente que dá bons tubos está cada vez mais alto. Adorei partilhar a sessão com tantos amigos, hoje. Na segunda, veio o @tittiesandkittiess que fez ondas lindas. Foi um dia especial - Carcaveleiros entenderão 😅 alguém por lá hoje?

  3. Há quem diga que este restaurante já perdeu a sua autenticidade. Quando um lugar atinge o nível lendário que o Refúgio do Ciclista, há uma tendência a dizer que “antigamente é que era”. Para mim, é dos poucos lugares que ainda preservam a sua portugalidade castiça. Claro que não é igualzinho ao que era quando lá fui pela primeira vez, na adolescência, depois de um estágio na Praia Grande em que a intensidade do surf me levou a comer quantidades absurdas de salsicha. Mas é, na sua essência, o mesmo lugar de sempre, com comida barata, muito barulho, e um staff a mil à hora que pode ou não ter paciência para te aturar. Mas não tens que acreditar na minha palavra. Podes lá ir e decidir por ti (eu recomendo!). Umas dicas: Lembra-te que é uma zona cheia de gente. Por isso, se vais de carro, prepara-te para encontrar algum caos. E tem também cuidado com o clássico vinho com 7Up! Parece sumo, mas não é. De resto, a minha aposta é que vais ficar tão maravilhado como eu fico sempre. Se já lá estiveste, conta-me: já perdeu o charme ou ainda vale a pena? E se nunca foste, guarda este vídeo para os teus próximos planos de domingo!

Why just eating a small pastel de nata when you can bake a whole tart? 🤩 This is one of my grandma’s perfect recipes It’s super easy, here it is, step by step: 1 | Pour the milk (1l) into a pot and add lemon peel. Bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat. 2 | Slowly stir in the sugar (300g), then whisk in the cornstarch (100g) - maizena- until fully dissolved and smooth. 3 | Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to thicken. 4 | Lower the heat. Gradually whisk in the egg yolks (6 egg yolks), stirring continuously to avoid curdling. 5 | Once the cream is smooth and thick, remove the lemon peel. 6 | Pour the cream into the prepared tart crust, spreading it evenly. 7 | Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden.   1. 1- Ainda não trabalho a 100% no instagram e por isso tenho o meu part-time da parte da manhã para conseguir juntar algum dinheiro. 2- Já passei por fases muito difíceis na minha vida e a última delas em que estive muito doente, causou-me uma depressão durante 2 anos. 3- Tenho medo de no futuro não estar como eu desejo estar, tanto profissionalmente como financeiramente. É algo que penso todos os dias. 4- Tentei durante 8 anos (desde 2015) ser criador de conteúdo no instagram e nunca fui bem sucedido, só em 2023 é que começou a dar certo. 5- Sempre tentei e quis ter uma relação séria para a vida e só aos 28 anos é que finalmente consegui! 6- Esta fase de mudança para a nossa nova casa assusta-me um pouco mas também deixa-me muito feliz, o que é perfeitamente normal. Sair da casa dos nossos pais será sempre um passo enorme na nossa vida o que o torna também assustador. 7- Atualmente tenho tido muitos altos e baixos devido a toda a pressão que tenho sentido no trabalho, no instagram, na nova casa, entre outras coisas. Mas tenho a certeza que tudo irá dar certo e vou conseguir alcançar todos os meus objetivos, custe o que custar. Temos de acreditar que somos capazes 🫂❤️
