I was so excited for her and I am still grateful to have her as a friend, since kindergarten… what a smart, sweet, funny, loving sunshine she is. sarah stood by my side my whole childhood whenever I was bullied and harassed. we shared a passion for drawing and she was never bored being my model for portraits and body studies. years have passed and I was quite unsure about doing a proper recording. it took repeated attempts to arrange it and I never scrapped so many versions of a song ever before. I had a bunch of lessons about love to digest, eventually there was a night, last winter, when I recorded my voice in one take, and things fell into it’s place. a special person stood by me and I couldn’t have done it without you my heart found so many magical secrets in that song.
