Heavy Par3, long Par4 of for example 429m, deep rough, narrow fairways, water.... everything that makes it exciting. Unfortunately, @petermotowidlak was very lacking in the organization. With my new fitted @golfkzg iron I am extremely happy. We don’t make a “120” model in the Redster CS range, but if we did, this would be a way to achieve it. It uses a 130 shell paired with a 110 cuff, rather than the 130 shell & cuff combo normally found on the 130 model. ⚜️ Redster CS shells come out of the mold with 0.5 degrees of sole canting (direction: out). To make these a more neutral test boot, I sole plane the soles 0.5 degrees “in” in order to arrive at 0.0 degrees of sole canting. ⚜️ To provide more grip when walking & hiking, I’ve added our Dual Component lifter to the bottom. Even after 3 full seasons of use, they are still in pretty good shape. ⚜️ Up top is our Professional Dual Strap which tightens the cuff to the liner and the liner tongue to the shin for a seamless fit. It also has elastic shock absorbing layers that smoothen out choppy terrain, which can be adjusted to fine tune the amount of suspension vs. responsiveness. ⚜️ Inside is the Mimic Professional liner that was heated & foamed to create the exact fit I need in the shell. My ankles & heel are still comfortably locked in place after 150+ days on hill. Out back, I’ve added a ShockStopper calf spoiler to take up excess room and provide some extra cushioning. ⚜️ I use the medium thickness “Medium Volume” tongue option (we make thinner and thicker versions but this one fits me perfectly). ⚜️ Under the liner, I’ve swapped out the standard hard foam boot board for a ShockStopper version that offers more shock absorption & a smoother ride.   3. Putting it all on the table 🔮 Story time: in 2015 we were working on the world’s first light weight alpine ski boot. It was code named “Hawx Pro” before finally settling on its current name, Hawx Ultra. This was the first time an alpine boot was built using what we dubbed Prolite- making the boot incredibly thin where it can be but still strong & supportive where it needs to be. This boot challenged the status quo and we haven’t looked back since.
