GoAffPro vs. BixGrow: Which is Better?

At first glance, GoAffPro and BixGrow look interchangeable. Both give affiliates trackable links and coupon codes, and both pay affiliates a commission when someone buys through their link. But they aren't the same. The differences show up in how each tool grows your program, rewards customers, and calculates commissions. Read on and I'll run through the comparative strengths and weaknesses of each, plus the areas where both fall short.

GoAffPro vs. BixGrow at a glance

GoAffPro serves more use cases, from selling through party plans to segmenting affiliates into groups with custom commission rates. BixGrow fits Shopify brands that want a creator affiliate program and a customer refer-a-friend program in a single app.

The problem with both tools is that they track affiliate sales via links and codes, but neither shows you the posts, videos, or stories affiliates publish or how that content performs. Affiliate marketing tools like Modash handle this automatically.

BixGrow recruits through a marketplace and MLM downlines, GoAffPro grows through party plans

BixGrow gives brands 2 ways to bring in new affiliates. The first is a marketplace of 200,000+ affiliates, which BixGrow lists among its core features alongside its affiliate and referral programs.

The second is its multi-level marketing (MLM) feature, which turns your existing affiliates into recruiters. Each affiliate gets a network link in their dashboard, and anyone who signs up through it joins that affiliate's downline.

From there, BixGrow affiliates earn from their own referrals and from the performance of the affiliates they recruit. You decide how many levels the network runs and set commission rules for each level, including a recruitment bonus and a minimum sales requirement before affiliates earn network commissions.

GoAffPro does MLM and has its own creator marketplace, too.

But it also has a novel way of growing reach: party plans. In a nutshell, an affiliate gets a customer or host to run a party, and the host shares a party link with friends, family, or guests. When someone orders through that link, the host is rewarded and the affiliate earns a commission. GoAffPro emails hosts their rewards automatically once the party period ends.

Both BixGrow and GoAffPro have opt-in marketplaces, meaning creators have to join to be listed. The trouble with this approach is that if you want to proactively recruit new affiliates, you're limited to those who've signed up (which, by design, is only gonna represent a tiny proportion of all creators in any given niche).

If you're comparing affiliate recruitment software for proactive outreach, Modash lets you search 380M+ creators, find the ones who already fit your brand, and contact them directly. Audience demographics and engagement metrics appear on creator profiles during discovery, so you can confirm a creator fits before you send a single message.

👉 Bottom line: Both BixGrow and GoAffPro offer multi-level marketing and built-in creator databases, but GoAffPro also leverages party plans to boost reach.

Both GoAffPro and BixGrow track sales through links and coupons

GoAffPro puts a unique referral link and a coupon code on the home tab of each affiliate's dashboard, right next to a summary table of their performance. If a customer buys through either one, GoAffPro records the order and the affiliate earns a commission on that sale.

Affiliates can also paste a product URL or pick a product name to create a trackable link to a specific product. They can edit the referral code at the end of their link and rename their coupon too.

BixGrow handles product links much the same way. Affiliates pick a product in their dashboard, and BixGrow creates a unique affiliate link that sends customers straight to that product page.

Both platforms also offer the ability to create dynamic or "anti-leak" coupons, which apply automatically when someone clicks their affiliate link – a useful tool for brands worried about discount code leakage.

Your creators will likely share both links and codes, so you want both to count. Modash ties links and codes together so each sale lands with the right creator. A creator's tracking link can carry a Shopify discount code, so the discount applies automatically when a customer clicks through. And if a customer uses the code after the link's attribution window closes, the sale still counts for that creator.

👉 Bottom line: Both platforms do all the link-and-code-based tracking you need to measure direct affiliate sales, and the anti-code-leakage features are a nice touch too.

BixGrow runs a separate customer referral program, GoAffPro links customers to affiliates

BixGrow splits its app into two programs. Its Affiliate Program is for partnering with influencers, brand ambassadors, bloggers, and marketers, while a separate Referral Program is built for existing customers and advocates.

Screenshot taken 05/10/2026

BixGrow positions the Affiliate Program for brands that want professional marketers to reach a wider audience, and the Referral Program for brands that want to grow through word-of-mouth from current customers. So you can essentially run a refer-a-friend program and a creator affiliate program side by side.

GoAffPro takes a different approach. Its Customer Affiliate Connect option links a customer to an affiliate, so that affiliate gets credit for every future purchase the customer makes. Admins turn it on in GoAffPro's Extras settings. In practice, an affiliate keeps earning on repeat orders from the customers they brought in.

Whether a sale comes from a referral or a repeat buyer, Modash makes sure you always know which creator earned it. Each sale goes to the last creator link a customer clicked within an attribution window of up to 30 days.

👉 Bottom line: if you want a customer refer-a-friend program running next to your creator affiliates, BixGrow is the stronger pick. GoAffPro fits brands that want affiliates to keep earning on repeat purchases from the customers they introduce.

Both BixGrow and GoAffPro offer control on commissions

If you sell through party plans, GoAffPro lets you set a different commission rate for party orders. Each commission group can also have its own affiliate store, and every affiliate in that group gets access to it.

GoAffPro also sets commissions based on who the affiliate is. Its Affiliate Groups let you create commission groups, so different types of affiliates can earn under different commission structures.

Similarly, with BixGrow, you can segment creators into different affiliate tiers, each with its own commission rates, discount codes, bonuses, and program rules.

It's also worth noting that both platforms let you decide whether discounts, shipping, and taxes affect the commissionable sale. For example, on a $100 order with a $10 discount, you can choose whether to keep the commissionable sale at $100 or automatically drop it to $90. Turning on Shipping or Tax works the other way and adds those amounts to the order's sale.

Whatever rates you set, you'll want to know exactly who earned each sale, and Modash makes that clear.

The last creator whose link was clicked gets the sale, as long as the click happened within the attribution window you set, which can be anywhere from 1 to 30 days. If a customer uses a creator's discount code, that creator gets credit for the sale no matter when the link was clicked.

👉 Bottom line: Not much to choose between the two platforms here, although if party plans are your thing, GoAffPro is the way to go.

Both GoAffPro and BixGrow let you give team members limited access

If an agency, a contractor, or a part-time affiliate manager helps run your program, you probably don't want to hand over your admin login. Good news is, you don't have to with GoAffPro and BixGrow, because they let you create separate team member accounts, each with its own login.

GoAffPro calls these manager accounts. Managers sign in to their own portal with an email address and password. Give a manager full access, and they get the same control over the program that you have as the merchant. Keep certain sections off-limits instead, and a manager with restricted access who opens one of those sections sees a "You do not have permission to view this page" message.

Screenshot taken 05/10/2026

BixGrow calls these team members staff accounts. When you add a staff member, you fill in their details and grant either all permissions or a smaller set. Staff sign in through a separate staff-only portal, so you don't have to give them access to your Shopify store.

What a staff member can do ends at the BixGrow permissions you've granted. The real difference is where the boundary sits. GoAffPro lets you decide how much of the program a manager controls, while BixGrow keeps helpers inside the affiliate app and out of your store.

👉 Bottom line: On team access alone, this is close to a tie. GoAffPro's full-access option fits brands that want to hand day-to-day program control to a trusted manager. BixGrow fits Shopify brands that want helpers working inside the affiliate app and kept out of the store admin.

GoAffPro offers built-in bulk & drip emailing, BixGrow only has built-in bulk email

With either platform, you can choose between emailing affiliate creators using the built-in email tool, or integrating with a 3rd-party tool (Klaviyo or Mailchimp) instead.

However, there's one key difference: while both tools can handle bulk email, only GoAffPro allows you to set up drip email campaigns without a separate integration.

Sure, it's not a major differentiator, given that most stores will lean on their existing email tool for bulk emailing. But if costs are tight and you've never had a dedicated email platform before, it's nice to have this functionality on tap.

Sending the email is only half the job, though. Knowing who's on the other end matters just as much. With Modash, you get full creator context right next to your conversations, without switching tabs. When an email comes in, Modash automatically matches it to the creator's profile and shows their audience demographics, campaign history, and payment data in a sidebar.

👉 Bottom line: GoAffPro supports bulk and drip email campaigns out of the box, whereas BixGrow only does bulk emailing. Both integrate with Klaviyo and Mailchimp.

GoAffPro offers more free tools, BixGrow has more affordable paid plans

Both GoAffPro and BixGrow offer free plans, but their limits differ significantly. GoAffPro’s free Hobby plan includes unlimited affiliates, sales, and revenue, whereas BixGrow’s free plan is capped at 30 affiliates and 50 referral orders per month, plus one coupon per affiliate.

For paid plans, BixGrow offers more price points: $19.99, $29.99, and $49.99 per month, versus GoAffPro’s $49 Premium and $99+ Business plans. BixGrow also offers discounted annual billing, while GoAffPro’s pricing page only lists monthly rates.

👉 Bottom line: GoAffPro gives you fewer usage limits for free, while BixGrow offers a cheaper route to paid features and more pricing flexibility.

Neither GoAffPro nor BixGrow tracks the content affiliates post

GoAffPro measures affiliates by what their links and codes sell. Its affiliate dashboard shows each affiliate's referrals, orders, conversions, sales, and earnings. On your side, the Sales section lists every referred order with its date, order number, amount, referring affiliate, commission earned, and order status.

BixGrow works on the same principle. It gives affiliates trackable links, and when someone buys through one of those links, the affiliate earns a commission.

That tells you about the sale. But it doesn't tell you about the post that drove it. Neither GoAffPro nor BixGrow shows you the posts, videos, or stories affiliates publish, or how that content performs. If an affiliate's video gets plenty of views but few clicks, neither tool shows you the video itself – you only see the low sales number.

If you want to know which posts actually drive sales, that's the piece Modash fills in. Modash tracks the content your creators publish, so you see affiliate sales and the posts behind them side by side in one place. Each creator gets a unique link, and clicks and sales are tracked separately for each creator automatically.

👉 Bottom line: GoAffPro tells you which affiliate drove which order and what they earned, so it fits brands that want order-level reporting on every referral. BixGrow does the same through its trackable links and suits brands that want straightforward link-based tracking. Neither shows the content behind the sale. If judging affiliates on what they post matters to you, Modash covers that gap.

Which should you choose?

Choose GoAffPro if...

  • You sell through party plans and want hosts to share links with their own circle while affiliates earn on the orders.
  • You want to email affiliates in bulk or on a drip schedule without leaving the app.
  • You want to connect affiliates to specific customers they've referred for lifetime commissions.

Choose BixGrow if...

  • You want a customer refer-a-friend program running alongside your creator affiliate program.
  • You want premium features at a slightly lower price point.

A third choice: Modash

GoAffPro and BixGrow both measure affiliates by the sales their links and codes drive. But neither shows you the content behind those sales.

With Modash, you see which posts actually drive sales. Modash tracks the content your creators publish and shows it next to clicks and sales for every creator.

When you're ready to grow past your current affiliates, you can find creators who already fit. You can search 380M+ creators beyond your existing program and see audience demographics and engagement metrics on each profile before you reach out.

You always know who earned each sale. The last creator link a customer clicked gets the credit, and discount codes credit the creator no matter when the link was clicked.

Try Modash for free with a 14-day trial – no credit card required.
