  1. ✨Chicken Casserole✨ Sometimes you just need a comforting, one-pan dinner that makes the whole house smell amazing. This chicken casserole is rustic, simple, and loaded with tender chicken, hearty veggies, and a silky sauce infused with wine and herbs. Perfect for a Sunday dinner or when you want leftovers that taste even better the next day. āø» Ingredients • 4 chicken breasts • 3 carrots chopped • 2 celery stalks • 1 large onion, diced • 3 cloves garlic, minced • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced • 2 tbsp plain flour • 250 ml white wine • 500 ml chicken stock • 1 tsp dried thyme •. 1 tsp parsley • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter • Salt & black pepper, to taste āø» Instructions 1. Brown the chicken – Heat the olive oil or butter in a heavy casserole dish. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then sear until lightly golden. Remove and set aside. 2. Soften the veggies – In the same pan, sautĆ© the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften. 3. Make the base – Sprinkle over the flour and stir well. Pour in the wine, letting it bubble for a minute as you scrape up all the tasty browned bits. 4. Add stock & herbs – Stir in the chicken stock, thyme, and return the chicken to the dish. Add on potatoes. Bring to a simmer. 5. Slow cook – Cover and cook gently on the stovetop for 35–40 minutes until the chicken is tender and the potatoes are cooked through. 6. Finish & serve – Adjust seasoning with extra salt and pepper if needed. āø» Serve hot with crusty bread to mop up the sauce. #chickencasserole #onepotmeals #easydinnerideas #weeknightdinner #sundaydinner #slowcookedgoodness #foodinspo #recipeoftheday #cookwithme #foodphotography #foodstagram #comfortfood #autumnfood #corkcity

  3. ✨Traditional Cheesecake Buns ✨ A real taste of home, these old-fashioned cheesecake buns are the kind you’d spot in any good Irish bakery. Crisp shortcrust pastry, a spoon of jam, and a light vanilla sponge baked on top — simple, sweet, and comforting. There’s no cheesecake in them at all, just that familiar flavour we all grew up with. Best enjoyed with a cuppa, still warm from the oven. Save to try šŸ’Œ Ingredients For the base: • 1 sheet ready-made shortcrust pastry @tescoirl For the filling: • 6–8 tsp Raspberry Jam @follainirishpreserves (about ½–1 tsp per bun) For the sponge topping: • 100g unsalted butter, softened • 100g caster sugar • 2 eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 100g self-raising flour • 1–2 tbsp milk (as needed for a dropping consistency) āø» 🧁 Instructions 1. Preheat & prepare: Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) 2. Line the tins: Roll out the shortcrust pastry. Cut out 12 circles about 9–10 cm wide and gently press into each muffin hole to form neat pastry cases. Chill in the fridge while making the sponge. 3. Add the jam: Place ½–1 teaspoon of jam in the base of each pastry case. Don’t overfill — the jam will bubble up as it bakes. 4. Make the sponge topping: In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract. Fold in the self-raising flour until smooth. Add a little milk if the batter feels thick — it should drop easily from a spoon. 5. Top the buns: Spoon a generous dollop of sponge mixture on top of each jam-filled pastry case, just enough to cover the jam completely. 6. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the sponge tops are golden and spring back when lightly touched. 7. Cool & finish: Leave to cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Mix together icing sugar & milk (or water) until thick consistency. Spread on top of each bun. āø» #cheesecakebuns #baking #irishbaking #ireland #irishfoodie #traditional #corkcity #buns #recipeideas #irishmammy #sweet #treat #irelandā˜˜ļø

  1. šŸŒµšŸœļøCERAMIC ONLAYšŸŒµšŸœļø . . I shared some of this case on my stories recently and got so many questions on the workflow so here it is in full with the case completešŸ˜·āœ”ļø . I think the main takeaway from this case is never to underestimate the extent of damage under a shadow or stain even if it looks innocent enough from the surface. The distal crack which led to the decay was most likely as a result of a heavy occlusal contact as the opposing second molar was tilted resulting in one heavy occlusal contact point on the distal marginal ridge. Throw bruxism into the mix & here you areā€¦šŸ˜ . I just about held onto the mesiopalatal cusp- it was nice and chunky so it would have been a shame to remove, although it would have made the prep much easier!! I always remove the old filling & caries/cracks before I even considering removing cusps. Cutting the entire occlusal surface before removing any old dentistry is too aggressive IMHO🫣🫣 . For the eagle eyed šŸ¦…šŸ‘€out there, the profile of the distal of UL5 was very poor but the patient passed on changing it at this time so I recontoured it & it’s next on the to do listā˜ŗļø .
