My 20s were up& down😔 but I did meet the love of my life which gave me happiness again 👱🏼‍♀️💕👮🏽‍♂️…..My teen years were up&down emotionally but I found a flutter of confidence that got me where I am today⭐️. As a child I lived in a bubble of pure joy playing outside with my friends counting down the sleeps to Santa🎅🏼 life was so simple !! Now on to my 4th era which brings me so much excitment but some sadness when I think of my older brother who didn’t get to exprerince his 40’s 😔 it’s a reminder of how precious life can be, we must cherish every moment.   1. 21 years married today and 44. Was looking at this picture in the kitchen earlier and thinking how is it 10 years ago already. Remember the day well though, thought it would be nice to get some family pictures taken...the poor photographer. When Matthew fell over the equipment and Luke tried to chew through some cables it was suggested maybe we leave the studio and go outside...safe zone. In fairness the last photo session for Amy's Communion...well Matthew had his willy out for half the shots and no one spotted as blended in nicely with his beige chinos. So anyway, framed this one and never went for family photos again. Hard to believe its 21 years, doesn't feel it. Glad I packed in my first job in Penneys after 4 days for the exciting world of Pensions...if I didn't I never would have met Paul. Think everyone thought we were mad to get engaged after 9 months but when you know, you know. We've been through a lot together, some sad times and lots of happy times and I feel very grateful to be 21 years married and 44. I'll stop being a sap now....and go slag his bootcut jeans...

  2. In the IVF season of our lives right now ❤️ It’s a road we never expected to walk, but one we’re stepping into with hope and love. The past couple of years have been difficult filled with loss, longing, and quiet heartbreak. Losing our baby girl Wynter, at 15 and a half weeks changed everything. Since then, becoming parents has been a journey marked by both pain and deep hope. Sharing this doesn’t come easy, but I believe in talking about the difficult topics rather than keeping them to myself. I never spoke about my first pregnancy online until it ended in loss. So this time, I’m choosing openness from the start. IVF can feel isolating, but it shouldn’t be. It’s just another path to parenthood, a path many of us are quietly walking. And I want to help normalise that. I’m not sure how much I’ll share, but for now, I’ll share this: we’ve started. We’re doing the injections, the scans, the blood tests and hoping this will bring us closer to holding our baby. I know there are no guarantees. But we’re ready, and we’re hopeful. If you’ve been through IVF and feel comfortable sharing your story or positive outcome in the comments, please do. I know others, like me, will find comfort in your words.   3. Our sun, moon and stars ✨ We finally have our two boys, Sonny and Sebastian home with us. Our Summer Solstice babies - they arrived last Wednesday in a hurry at 35 weeks. Both boys needed some extra TLC and spent time in the special care unit, and after nearly a week, we have all been reunited again. Totally abusing my body with food, constantly punishing myself for being unhealthy by being even worse!! It’s a vicious cycle and so many can resonate with that! I’m so grateful for every single day and every day of feeling so much better. Yes I hiked mountains the size I was last year, I never gave up, I used to be 76 shades of purple in the face for gasping 🤣 but I never gave up, I am actually proud of that!   2. ✨A little life update ✨ We’re building our dream home 🥰 In June we moved out of our beautiful home & put our house up for sale. This was such a bittersweet time, our first home has brought so many wonderful memories and moments: it was the first place Alex and I lived - “just us” we planned our wedding from here, hosted some wild parties with friends over the years 🤣, and most importantly it’s the place we brought our precious little Charlotte home to 🥹 we had amazing neighbours, and we loved every minute of living there. But we’re ready for the next chapter, so we’ve moved back to the countryside, into a little cottage while we build our dream home, a faux-Georgian style Gatelodge. We’re going the self-build, direct labour route so this is going to be a long road, but I hope you stick around and follow along on this next adventure with us!
