My 20s were up& down😔 but I did meet the love of my life which gave me happiness again 👱🏼‍♀️💕👮🏽‍♂️…..My teen years were up&down emotionally but I found a flutter of confidence that got me where I am today⭐️. As a child I lived in a bubble of pure joy playing outside with my friends counting down the sleeps to Santa🎅🏼 life was so simple !! Now on to my 4th era which brings me so much excitment but some sadness when I think of my older brother who didn’t get to exprerince his 40’s 😔 it’s a reminder of how precious life can be, we must cherish every moment. She used her own money from her little junior account & she plotted it all so well with Ollie the little pet 🥹. What these two girls don’t know is that this is their last Christmas together, Christmas 2023 This is the last Christmas hug between two girls & their mummy, but we knew 💔 We held each other tight as any parents could & we gave them the best Christmas we could.   2. In the IVF season of our lives right now ❤️ It’s a road we never expected to walk, but one we’re stepping into with hope and love. The past couple of years have been difficult filled with loss, longing, and quiet heartbreak. Losing our baby girl Wynter, at 15 and a half weeks changed everything. Since then, becoming parents has been a journey marked by both pain and deep hope. Sharing this doesn’t come easy, but I believe in talking about the difficult topics rather than keeping them to myself. I never spoke about my first pregnancy online until it ended in loss. So this time, I’m choosing openness from the start. IVF can feel isolating, but it shouldn’t be. It’s just another path to parenthood, a path many of us are quietly walking. And I want to help normalise that. I’m not sure how much I’ll share, but for now, I’ll share this: we’ve started. We’re doing the injections, the scans, the blood tests and hoping this will bring us closer to holding our baby. I know there are no guarantees. But we’re ready, and we’re hopeful. If you’ve been through IVF and feel comfortable sharing your story or positive outcome in the comments, please do. I know others, like me, will find comfort in your words.   3. Our sun, moon and stars ✨ We finally have our two boys, Sonny and Sebastian home with us. Our Summer Solstice babies - they arrived last Wednesday in a hurry at 35 weeks. Both boys needed some extra TLC and spent time in the special care unit, and after nearly a week, we have all been reunited again. We cannot thank the amazing nurses and consultants at the @thecoombehospital enough - real life angels. We’ve never felt more grateful and will be savouring every last second with our boys 💙💙

  1. 15/06/24 Stitches out! 😍 My upper blepharoplasty surgery took place on a Sunday morning and the following Saturday I went back to Dr Cormac Joyce @cormacwjoyce to have my stitches removed. There was a single long stitch through each eyelid, and along the incisions were several paper stitches that would flake away over time. The single stitches were held in place with flesh-coloured plasters and they ran from my temples to the centre of my forehead. Once these plasters were lifted, the single stitch slipped right out without any pain or discomfort. Dr Joyce and his nurse worked to loosen a couple of the paper stitches that were ready to fall away, and after 10-15 minutes, I was ready to head home again. My swelling and bruising had dissipated hugely at this point and over the next few weeks, it subsided completely and I was able to put makeup on.   2. The lovely @ciaran_vp and @konkelly_ from @petermarkhair convinced me to try filler extensions because they said I was the perfect candidate for them as I have naturally thin and fine hair.   3. August 2024 😍 After 8 weeks, my upper blepharoplasty results have improved and improved, so I’m delighted. Dr Joyce @cormacwjoyce told me the full results occur around the 6 month mark but even so, I’m delighted with what I’m seeing so far. There has been no pain or discomfort throughout the procedure and recovery and I am really pleased that I decided to get it done. I spent 30 years fixating on this excess skin on my eyelids, and a confidence-boosting 2-hour visit (surgery is 15 minutes max) has fixed it permanently. I’m not known for oversharing on Instagram, but the reason I filmed this entire blepharoplasty diary is that even though it’s a popular and fast procedure, people never see the recovery side of things. Before and after pictures are great, but it’s all of those in-between times during recovery that people are interested in.   3. A bunch of a giggles, throw in a fresh wash cut and blowdry and tell me that’s not self care! A few hours well spent with Stef. Thank you so much for all the advice too. I’ve been tackling hairloss and thinning for I dunno how long now. It’s not too bad but could be better and lots of advice and tips from Stef left me feeling confident and feeling great again. Shannon and Niamh flat out in the background looking great 😂 Anyone lucky enough to spend time with Stef knows how much for a gem she is.
