  2. @runnershighdublin x @lululemoneurope 🍒 I held off starting run club in Dublin for so long, which didn’t make sense to a lot of people (mainly my mom lol) because I live here and I don’t live in London, where I started @runnershighlondon !! but there was something holding me back with starting one here … I think I felt like since I knew very few people in London, I would be less scared to throw myself into the deep end 👀 this comes from my inner teenager who was SCARED of putting herself out there (she still rears her head sometimes) when I initially asked who would come to our first dublin run club, 80 of you said yes. so when 250 tickets sold out in less than 24 hours, you can imagine my shock (and panic lol). I put the capacity to 250 thinking we’d see no more than 100 - in fact, I was so confident in this that I didn’t think to ask lulu what the store capacity was 🥹 when they said 100, you can imagine I freaked out lol talk about me being unorganised xxxx anyway, with that in mind THANK U lulu for being the best and facilitating this, thank you to YOU for coming / supporting me / engaging with what I do / commenting / dming EVERYTHING I feel so beyond lucky to be able to host events like these 💕 to see so many of you get into running through Runners High or just in general, is just the best feeling in the world x so basically - thank you for everything genuinely xxx (btw 28 days until the marathon help) ps. my mom is at the end of this carousel aka my bffl ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📸 @simonwong.ie #runner #runnershighdublin #slowrunner #runclubdublin #dublin #newrunner #beginnerrunner #realisticrunning #5km

  3. I love seeing people post transformation pics like this, as it just motivates you to keep going! so thought I would post one too🙆🏼‍♀️ I’ve been in the gym over 4 years now, coming up to 5. The main thing about this picture is that, I really only started seeing such big differences in my body in the past 2 years! Even though I have been going for years before that! The reason being diet, diet, diet🙌🏻 People really undermine the importance of having a good diet, and training good too! Now, A good diet doesn’t mean deprive yourself of things you like and don’t eat carbs, it’s actually the complete opposite! The amount of protein I was giving my body before was also a problem, I knew I was eating protein but I wasn’t tracking it so I really didn’t know how much🙆🏼‍♀️ (as the amount of protein a person needs is calculated by your weight) However, that’s the problem, as much as people say I don’t need to track my calories or food, once I eat good that’s fine, which is true, and I’m not saying you have to track it all of the time, but if your starting off on working towards a big goal in fitness, you need to! Tracking your food doesn’t mean your ‘not living your life’ I always get that🙄 My life is completely fine and at its happiest when I’m eating good and training good, so if my happiness means ‘not living life to the fullest’, that’s your perspective and not mine 😊 I eat bad food too! Sometimes lotssss of it! If your serious about changing your body though, you can train your muscles as hard as you want for as long as you want, expecting them to grow, but if you keep tearing that muscle during your workout and then don’t give it the right nutrients to repair and grow, you’re just wasting your time! My main goal starting off over 4 years ago was to grow my glutes🍑, only after all that time am I happy now, and that all boils down to me not caring about my diet too much at the start 😊 Remember though, it’s a complete journey and a long one at that! Discipline and consistency is 🔑
