  1. The hardest thing I’ll ever share! Because yes I am embarrassed, sad and angry that I let myself get to this level of self hatred, sadness, anger and size! Totally abusing my body with food, constantly punishing myself for being unhealthy by being even worse!! It’s a vicious cycle and so many can resonate with that! Yes I took a different route for weight loss one which many don’t agree with, but it wasn’t for lack of trying it all, and mentally I just couldn’t do it any longer. So after alot of agonising over this decision I decided to do it! After some research and consultation with @getsliminturkey I finally changed my life! And it’s the best decision I have ever made! I’m so grateful for every single day and every day of feeling so much better. And I appreciate everything so much, I’ve always been blessed with what I have I just didn’t see it for a while! “Once you start appreciating life, that’s when you realise how much you truly have to live for” Whilst I always loved being active I now absolutely love it!! When you finally break your 6 year old 1500m PB 😭😭 My outdoor PB has been hanging over me since 2019 (!) and I honestly wondered if I’d ever get back to 4.14 so to get the win and a PB at @irishmilersclub was so so nice 💞💞 Backed myself from the start of the race (which can be hard after a few meh years) and thought if I die, I die but at least I can say I tried and thankfully it paid off as you can see from the expressions in the pics lol. At Christmas I got a running jacket from my parents, they thought it looked cool and was my style to wear it around town (which it was) but I took it as a sign to start running 😂 I had always been that person who could never see myself enjoying exercise so I started and hated it for the first two weeks…then on the third week I started to feel proud after my runs, proud that I pushed myself to run 2k which led to 3k and so on and so on! I got messages from people saying they saw themselves in me when I did my running vlogs and that they started running too which was so overwhelming 🥹 @reecesrunclub is a place for anybody else that feels like that! It was a tough and unrelenting whirlwind just to get a place on the start line, which I know is itself an accomplishment. But yesterday did not reflect the performance I’m capable of and I’m disappointed not to execute a better race. I cannot thank my coaches, Eanna and Gav @huphup.ie , enough. They put in 110% with me to ensure that I was in the best shape possible for race day. I especially cannot thank Eanna enough for the time and effort he put in just for me to be able to realise a dream.   2. Old Farm Sheds, Rathnacreeva, Co. Mayo . . . This farm shed which is approximately 150 years old brings you right back to what Ireland was like at that time. Although this picture was taken Sunday morning it feels like you are back in time. When I was younger I would have spend a lot of my childhood in Mayo where my parents are from. My Granny and Grandad used these sheds as their milking sheds and calving sheds up until the early 2000's, which shows how long they had been in use for. I remember going down the fields with them to gather up the cattle and bringing them up to milk them. They are now used for storage although they are falling into disrepair. When the building was originally built there was a thatched roof on it. This Saturday, the community of Finglas will come together to walk, run & cycle 21km from Finglas to Howth Summit in aid of Finglas Suicide Prevention Network 💚 This is our 4th annual Finglas to Howth Summit half marathon charity event in aid of FSN. FSN is a non-governmental support network that delivers affordable counselling for the price of a small donation. FSN focuses on improving the mental well-being of the community, with a particular emphasis on supporting people at risk of suicide. FSN seeks to raise awareness around suicide prevention by offering positive life’s skills alternatives, so suicide is not used as a definitive solution for resolvable life’s difficulties. This is an essential and much needed service within our community given the significantly high rate of suicide in the Finglas area. In year one, we raised €13,560, year two €17,526, last year, we had 300 participants and raised €24,800. This year, we have 500 participants, and we're setting a big target of €30,000 to help this much-needed charity in our community 💚 For anyone who wants to come along and cheer our walkers, runners, and cyclists off this Saturday. Walkers leave from FITT Gym at 8.30 am, runners & cyclists leave at 10.30 am 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ The link for donations is in our bio 💚

  2. Two time reigning bikini champ! 🥇 . . @pca_official Manchester comp is very special to me as it was my very first show ever last year and I ended up winning. So to come back and defend that title this year was a privilege 🧡 I had such a ball on that stage, I couldn’t have had a cheesier smile the whole time 😅 Much more confidence this year and able to enjoy the whole process more as well 🫶🏼 Can’t thank my coach @adam_adelitecoaching enough for being in my corner and pushing me to be a better athlete every damn day 💪🏼 I’m on cloud 9, so proud of what we have accomplished. Now back to work for our next show in 6 days 🏆
