Totally abusing my body with food, constantly punishing myself for being unhealthy by being even worse!! It’s a vicious cycle and so many can resonate with that!   3. So after 107 days in hospital!🤯 Including 3 ICU admissions. This girl is HOME (for Now) thanks so much for all your support and kind messages over the past 15 weeks! They were very much appreciated, and kept me company. I am glad so many of you have learned from following me that anorexia isn’t just a white girl who wants to lose a few pounds, it can be a fatal illness, and the body can become critically unwell. It’s not just about “not wanting to eat” or “willpower” it is far from it. It’s a life threatening brain disorder that has tried to kill me lots of times, I’ve had blood transfusions, iron infusions, I’ve have had blood infections, covid, re-feeding syndrome a million times, you name it, it’s happened in the past 107 days! I’m jaysis wrecked!!

  2. ✨Air Fry Ham✨ This one never fails to amaze me I used to be boiling and emptying water cooking my ham before I tried this and now I know this foolproof way of cooking never fails to disappoint Its so easy and as usual I took inspiration from @mrsdillonskitchen for this one and it didn’t disappoint it’s so easy and ready in just over 1 hour @aldi_ireland loin of ham in my @towerhousewares dual air fryer Remove all packaging and cook at 200 deg for 30 minutes turn and do the same the other side, I rested mine for about 10 minutes before carving, it was so delicious, the above cooking times may vary mine was for cooking 800g ham!   3. ✨Strawberry Tru Fru✨ Yesterday when I saw Geraldine getting a bag of the extremely expensive and sought after €7.50 a bag Tru Fru I just knew I had to create a version myself using just 3 ingredients for half the cost. I managed to pick up a bag of RTC frozen strawberries @greenisle in my local Tesco today for €1.75 and I knew this was my sign to make them, and they were super easy, firstly I covered a tray with parchment paper and melted 200g white chocolate and using tongs I dipped the frozen strawberries into the white chocolate to cover and popped into the freezer for an hour, I then melted 200g milk chocolate and again dipped the white chocolate strawberries into the milk chocolate, back onto the baking tray and froze until set. I then cut one in half to reveal the exact same shape as the shop bought snack but much bigger and many more, I’d say this was a win win overall Will you try them? Please God we still keep talking, and learn to do so respectfully. Today was a massive step back for the freedom Charlie fought for. I only pray we can heal and recover. God bless his young family. My prayers and all of my sympathy are with you. Right now I’m also thinking of all of my friends whose daily jobs are similar to Charlie’s — fearless leaders who enter debates and discussions on important, heated topics. Whether on campuses or at conferences or in schools or online. I know this is hitting you different. I’m thinking of all my friends in politics. All of my friends in conservative media. All of my friends in pro-life ministry. The list goes on. I’m thinking about the times I’ve faced some very, very hostile and hateful people in my day. I’m thinking of the multiple speaking engagements I’ve been honoured to have this year, including a time in Belgium and in Germany when the thought of a shooter/person with a knife crossed my mind several times. Now I’m frightened in an entirely new way. This is an assassination with massive ramifications. I hope we can find a way to move forward and not backwards from this.

  2. In an affront to democracy, Maria Steen will not be on Ireland’s presidential ballot. She received 18 of the 20 nominations she needed from Irish politicians. They didn’t want to give us, the Irish people, even the opportunity to vote for Maria. They used their power to block who would have been the only conservative candidate on the ticket — because they don’t trust us to vote the “right” way. That’s not how democracy works. Since we cannot give her our vote, please instead raise your voice about her being blocked from the nominations. This massive injustice deserves to become an international news story. Irish politicians in power should be made to answer for this. Call your local politician. Text into a radio show. Post on social media. Please spread the word.

  3. It was a huge honour to deliver the opening keynote speech at the first @focuscatholic SEEK Conference in Europe. Won’t lie, it took a while to memorise the 30 minute talk, but it was entirely worth it and I’m so glad to have been asked — I was deeply touched by the invitation and all the incredible students and staff I got to chat with during the week. I have long loved and supported FOCUS’ mission — it has deeply impacted my faith, especially the time I spent with them as a missionary in Oklahoma. It brings me so much joy to see their mission growing and flourishing now in Europe — if you’re in university and not already involved, I highly recommend finding out more. Or if you’re not in university but can support their work, I cannot recommend them enough!

No thanks il smash it in 2 weeks 💪🏽🏡🥰 Recovery is going great thank god so I was discharged last night and ready to start October off by continuing to slowly heal at home with my family and friends support ❤️ Thank you so much for all the well wishes the last 7 months- it’s been one hell of a rollercoaster!!   1. Adjusting to that new big role..... You're so excited about the arrival of your new baby, but there’s always that worry about how your toddler will handle their new role? Will they feel left out or overwhelmed? And I know as a mother when I was expecting my second, I worried how I'd be able to love another baby just as much as I loved my first. It's amazing to learn your love doesn't get shared it just grows ❤️ When you have a toddler its so important to make sure they still feel just as loved. This new little person has entered their world, and they're adjusting to having to share you. That's why during a newborn session with a toddler I always make the session about the toddler. So they feel important & know that this new little person in their life just brings more love for them. Sometimes, they might be shy and unsure. Other times, they can completely have no interest in their new little brother or sister. But there's always beautiful little moments, quick gentle touches & kisses, a proud smile, little gazes at this tiny person they’re getting to know. Watching this gorgeous gentle soul Cooper with his new little brother Archie was really special ❤️ The sweetest little boy & best big brother, he was the best help on the day. But the best bit was at their gallery viewing. Seeing the excitement in Cooper as he watched himself on the screen. Pointing out his baby brother and his Mammy & Daddy. He was so proud. It was so lovely to see. It's the best part of what I do ✨️ I'm not going to lie. Doing a session with a toddler isn't the easiest. It's probably the toughest type of session for any photographer. Because toddlers know their own minds & are the most determined beings 😆 but if you give them their space & get to their level, you'll get the best few seconds here and there.
