If youâre a small to medium-sized business looking to hire microinfluencers for your creator campaigns, you know how hard it is to find a platform to find, vet, and manage this subset of creators:
- Many influencer marketing tools donât have large databases â particularly for microinfluencers
- The platforms that do have a large microinfluencer database are enterprise tools, which are not just expensive, but overkill for your needs
- The tools that have the rare combo of being affordable and having a large database canât help you manage all types of microinfluencer collabs end-to-end
Here are nine microinfluencer platforms worth considering â each solving at least one (and sometimes all three) of these problems.
1. Modash

Best for: Shopify brands looking for one tool to manage and scale all kinds of campaigns
What is it: Modash is a complete influencer marketing solution for Shopify brands â you can use it to find creators, vet their profiles, outreach to them, track their content, and measure performance. The deep Shopify integration also makes affiliate management a breeze.
Free trial: available for 14 days (with usage limits)
Price: from $199 per month (billed yearly), or $299 per month (billed monthly)
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Modash has one of the largest influencer databases in the market, with over 380M+ creator profiles. Every influencer with 1k+ followers is listed in the tool â which means youâll never run out of potential microinfluencers to collaborate with.
Along with this, Modash also has AI semantic and visual search. You can describe what youâre looking for or upload an image for reference to find *exactly* the creators who match your vibe. If you need to be more specific, you can also layer filters on top of your AI semantic/visual search.

Once you find a list of microinfluencers who meet your criteria, you can also analyze their profile from A-Z â learn their audience data, see their popular posts, check how their past sponsorships performed, and a lot more.

If you find a microinfluencer you like, you can also use the lookalike feature to find similar creators â best way to shrink your search time.

Other key features: the best part about Modash is itâll become your one-stop hub for all things influencer marketing. You wonât just discover and analyze the profiles of creators, you can also:
- Connect your inbox and manage your outreach efforts directly from Modash
- Measure the performance of individual creators and the overall campaign
- Track all influencer content automatically (including Instagram Stories!)
- Pay your creators on time (you have to pay just one invoice)
Most importantly, you can run all types of campaigns â whether thatâs gifting, affiliate, or sponsored â seamlessly (the Shopify integration helps a ton here!).Â
2. HypeAuditor

Best for: finding microinfluencers on Twitch, X (formerly Twitter), and Snapchat
What is it: HypeAuditor is an influencer marketing platform that can help you find creators, analyze their profiles, run competitor analysis, and track campaign results.
Free trial: yes, on a case-by-case basis
Price: not publicly available, but Capterra says their pricing begins at $399/month
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, X, and Snapchat
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: HypeAuditor has a database of over 218.9M creators â one of the largest in the market (though still a fraction of Modash). You can filter for influencers by size, gender, age, language, and more.
HypeAuditor also provides an Audience Quality Score (AQS) for each creator â which tells you if an influencer has fake followers or engagement. You can also set a benchmark to only find microinfluencers with a minimum AQS.
One thing to remember is HypeAuditorâs Basic plan includes limited filters for each platform. You canât access all of their 35+ filters in the lowest-tier plan. Their AI search features are also currently limited to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Itâs unclear how much of the database is included in AI search.
Other key features: HypeAuditor is a complete influencer marketing solution, so you can also use the tool to outreach creators, create landing pages to recruit affiliates, and even conduct a market analysis to find trends in your industry.
Recently, HypeAuditor has also introduced AI features, such as AI Coach and AI Scout to seamlessly search for new creators, prepare influencer briefs, and brainstorm improvements for your strategy.
The only con is that many of HypeAuditorâs best features are locked behind the highest-tier plan. The company can offer you custom pricing based on your exact needs, but itâs likely the pricing will steer toward enterprise-level if you want all the best features.

3. Grin

Best for: agentic AI assistance
What is it: Grin is an influencer marketing platform that can help you manage your creator campaigns from start to finish. You can use it to find creators, track their content & performance, and pay them.
Free trial: yes, for 30 days
Price: plans start at $399/month for working with 50 creators
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Grin has a database of over 190M creators. You can also use the semantic AI creator search to use keywords to find your ideal creators â but itâs unclear how much of the database is included in the AI search.
The standout feature of Grin is its agentic AI assistant, Gia. You can work with this tool to handle your entire campaign â including influencer discovery. Just prompt Gia for what kind of creators you need, and itâll work to find relevant influencers.
Like with other tools, Grin also offers a deeper insight into every creatorâs profile, so you can assess whether or not theyâre a brand fit.
One thing to remember is that Grin places limitations on how many creators you can work with or search for in each of its plans. In the lowest-tier plan, for example, you can only work with 50 creators at a time. Youâll have to archive creators or upgrade if you want to add more active influencers.
Similarly, you can only search for microinfluencers (or any size of creators) 20 times a day in the Lite plan. Each search result includes a list of 20 influencers. This means you can only find 400 unique creators (if none of the queries share some common creators) in a day in the Lite plan.
Other key features: Grin is not just an influencer search tool. It can also help you measure campaign results, find affiliates, and handle creator outreach. Gia can be the most helpful for affiliate programs, because you can use it to narrow down your best-performing creators and find lookalike affiliates.

4. IMAI

Best for: influencer marketing agencies
What is it: IMAI is an AI-powered influencer marketing tool. AI is embedded into almost every function in this platform â you can use AI to discover creators, draft influencer briefs, and even analyze your performance against competitors.
Free trial: not available for self-serve
Price: not publicly available, but according to G2, their pricing starts at $99/month for analyzing 50 influencers
Platforms: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch, Amazon Live
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: IMAI has over 400M creators and 30 filters to help you find microinfluencers that meet your needs. Their AI search tool helps you apply relevant filters automatically when you type âNYC fitness influencer over 30.â
The tool also provides an audience quality score and a brand safety score to help you assess whether an influencer has authentic engagement and audience.
IMAI also gives you an AI-generated TL;DR report on each influencer so you can spot red flags quickly. A major drawback, though, is you can only analyze 50 influencer profiles in the lowest-tier plan. To analyze more creators, you need to upgrade your plan â and the cost for this usage rises rapidly.
IMAI is perfect for agencies not just because of its database, but also because it allows you to whitelabel reports, create unique client logins, and share exactly the data you want with your clients.
Other key features: apart from influencer discovery, IMAI also has a competitive analysis feature to help you compare your performance with rivals. You can track your share of voice, compare influencer performance, and benchmark engagement.
You can also use IMAI to manage influencer relationships, but creators need to sign up for the tool to receive briefs, submit content for approval, etc.
5. Collabstr

Best for: finding vetted microinfluencers
What is it: Collabstr is an influencer marketplace to discover pre-vetted creators of various sizes and niches. You can use Collabstr to manage your communication with creators, receive influencer content, and pay creators. Collabstr also helps you track influencer content and campaign performance.
Free trial: free plan available to search for influencers at a 10% marketplace fee
Price: paid plans start at $299/month to track influencer content, communicate with creators, etc.
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Collabstr doesnât have a large influencer database â only 550K â but theyâre pre-vetted by the company. If youâre looking to find microinfluencers who have already been checked for authenticity, Collabstr may be a good choice.
Collabstr takes a 10% fee when you hire a creator (which also reduces as you upgrade your plan). But other than that cost, you can search for as many microinfluencers as you want.
A major con is there are just a few filters (platform, followers, content type, location, price, gender) which arenât enough to narrow down your search. And many basic filters â like age, language, and ethnicity â are locked behind the premium plan.
The good thing about a marketplace, though, is creators list their prices on the platform. You can set a filter to only see microinfluencers who meet your budget.
Collabstr is a good starting point for small businesses looking to test the waters with influencer marketing on a tight budget. But the database limitations mean youâll outgrow the tool soon.
Other key features: Collabstr is a marketplace, so you can also chat with creators right on the app, check their content before they post, and pay them for their work. In the higher-tier plans, you can also track influencer content and see your campaign performance. You can also create a landing page and have creators apply to work with you.
6. Heepsy

Best for: testing influencer marketing
What is it: Heepsy used to be a standalone influencer discovery and analysis tool, but now it can also help you with influencer outreach, tracking Instagram content, and measuring your KPIs.
Free trial: Heepsy has a free plan with limits on monthly creator search
Price: plans start at $89/month
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Heepsy has over 11 million influencers in its database (according to the companyâs blog), which is quite low compared to the other tools on this list. But Heepsyâs free plan makes it a good choice for brands that are looking to test influencer marketing.
Along with the database, Heepsy also has a marketplace of vetted influencers in the paid plans. You can list your requirements and get inbound creator partnership requests. Itâs unclear how many influencers are in the marketplace, although Heepsy says somewhere in the thousands.
You can also check a creatorâs profile and get insights into their profile â engagement, interests, reach, last activity, etc. I found Heepsyâs creator analysis to be a lot more surface-level than other tools on this list. For instance, you canât see a creatorâs previously sponsored content or their follower growth rate.
Other key features: Heepsy also allows you track influencer content, but only for Instagram. The influencer outreach feature also doesnât connect with your inbox â the emails are sent via Heepsy and received in the platform and your own email. Lastly, you can also measure campaign performance more thoroughly by integrating with Shopify.

7. MightyScout

Best for: combining influencer marketing and social listening
What is it: MightyScout is an influencer and UGC marketing tool. You can use it to find creators, track brand mentions, collect influencer content, and practice influencer gifting.
Free trial: all plans (except Professional) have a 14-day free trial
Price: plans start at $99/month to find 800 creators/month
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: MightyScout has over 250 million influencers in its database. There are very few filters in the tool compared to other platforms in the market. For example, thereâs no way to filter for audience interest, last post, follower growth rate, etc.
There is also no reporting on an influencerâs profile beyond fake followers (which costs credits). You canât see detailed data on their audience, previous sponsored content, etc. Thereâs just info on their engagement rate, median likes, and median comments. Youâll need a separate influencer analysis tool to conduct deep research.
All actions you do count as âMightyScout credits,â and you only get a limited number of these each month. The lowest-tier plan, for example, just has 20 credits for $99/month.
Other key features: MightyScout can also help you collect influencer content â including Instagram Stories.
A great feature is social listening for Instagram and TikTok. You can use MightyScout to monitor whenever someone tags you, whether thatâs an influencer or a customer. This is excellent for understanding market sentiment about your brand and addressing any complaints quickly.Â
MightyScout canât help you practice influencer outreach or pay creators â youâll need additional tools for that.
8. Influencity

Best for: combining social media management and influencer marketing into one tool
What is it: Influencity is a social media management, social listening, and influencer marketing tool rolled into one. If you need one tool to manage your social media and influencer marketing efforts, Influencity is worth considering.
Free trial: the Professional plan has a seven-day free trial
Price: plans start at $398/month
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Influencity has over 300M+ creators â you can filter for the exact kind of microinfluencer you need using 30 filters. The tool also has an AI assistant that can do the job for you if you just describe the kind of filters youâre looking to apply.
Once you run search results, you can also analyze an influencerâs profile and find out their content themes, previous sponsorships, audience details, etc. You can also practice influencer outreach right from Influencity and find lookalikes for the microinfluencers you liked.
Other key features: Influencity offers social media management (aka scheduling social media posts, engaging with people, analyzing performance) along with influencer marketing in one tool (only in the Enterprise plan, though).
In influencer marketing specifically, you can do pretty much everything except track Instagram Stories. Influencity also charges a 3.5% fee to pay your creator partners.

9. Aspire

Best for: brands that want agency services
What is it: Aspire is an end-to-end influencer management tool that can help you discover creators, analyze their profiles, track campaign performance, and a lot more.
Free trial: no free trial
Price: not publicly available, but Capterra lists their pricing as $2,499/month
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
Micro-influencer discovery and management features: Aspire has over 170M creators from across the globe, including microinfluencers. This is quite a small number compared to other tools on this list, but Aspire is a good choice if you want agency support alongside a tool.
Apart from a database, Aspire also has a creator marketplace where your brand can set up a landing page to invite applications from influencers.
You can also analyze a creatorâs profile and see their audience data, post performance, and follower growth.
Itâs worth remembering that Aspireâs database might have fewer influencers from certain locations. In their own words: âNot all public accounts will appear in search results and some regions may have limited location data.â
Other key features: apart from influencer discovery, Aspire also has affiliate management, campaign tracking, and paid ads features. You can request usage rights and repurpose creator content for ads on Meta or TikTok. Aspire also offers agency services if you need to outsource implementing your strategy â you can ask for end-to-end support, or help during busy seasons, or help just for creator discovery.

Features to look for in a microinfluencer platform
Here are the features you should prioritize when looking for microinfluencer platforms:
- Influencer database: microinfluencer platforms need to have a large influencer database so you can find a good number of smaller creators for your brand. Many platforms impose follower limits (for example, KOLSquare only lists creators with over 5k followers), so search for those before committing to a tool. Ideally, you should be able to find all creators with over 1k+ followers.
- Complete solutions: itâs ideal to invest in tools that donât just help to find micro-influencers, but also run the whole campaign. If you use a standalone search tool, youâll either end up doing everything else manually (time suck) or stitching together multiple tools to get everything done faster (cost suck). There are plenty of solutions that help you manage a campaign from A-Z â look for those.
- Scalability: look for tools that donât just focus on microinfluencers or set a limit on how many creators you can manage at a time. Youâre going to scale in both directions â hiring more microinfluencers and hiring more creators of different sizes. Shortlist platforms that can scale with you so you donât have to go through the hassle of switching.
- Influencer analysis: itâs not enough to just get a creator list, you also need to do a deep analysis of whether or not the creator is a right fit for you. Look for tools that offer an influencerâs audience data, engagement rate, fake followers, etc. Itâll save you a ton of time and energy you wouldâve spent communicating back-and-forth with a creator.
- Versatility: youâll be running various kinds of campaigns with microinfluencers to see which one works best for you. Hunt for tools that support paid, affiliate, gifting, giveaway, and more. You donât want to use separate tools for different kinds of campaigns â thatâll be quite the headache.
The tools on this list meet various use cases:
- If you want social media and influencer marketing in one tool, Influencity is good
- If youâre just testing the waters with influencer marketing, go with Heepsy
- If youâre looking for agency support, Aspire is the obvious choice
For a majority of ecommerce brands using Shopify, Modash will be the no-brainer choice.
- It can help you find microinfluencers from its vast 350M+ database
- You can analyze each creatorâs profile thoroughly before reaching out
- You can run all kinds of campaigns with all types and sizes of influencers
- Outreach management is easy and quick, thanks to email inbox integration
- ROI tracking is smooth because Modash automatically collects influencer content and integrates with your Shopify store
