  1. It was a great 3 weeks competing on the @dpworldtour and @asiantour . I can’t thank everyone enough that was involved in giving me theses opportunities. I played some solid golf and I learnt a lot of lessons to take forward and improve my game.   2. I’ve hated this woman. I’ve not loved her at full capacity. I’ve fed her lies & told her she wasn’t good enough and have allowed others to tell her she wasn't good enough. I’ve allowed her to be broken. I've allowed others to treat her disrespectfully. I’ve allowed her to run through brick walls & battle for others who won’t even stand for her. I couldn’t stop individuals from abandoning her, yet I’ve seen her get up and stand to be a light to the world & love others despite all that. I have stood paralyzed by fear while she fought battles in her mind, heart and soul. This woman has screwed up many times, as a mother, a wife, a daughter or as a friend, because she doesn’t always say or do the "right things". She has a smart mouth, and She has scars... because she has a history. Some people love this woman, some like her, and some people don't care for her at all. She has done good in her life. She has done bad in her life. She goes days without makeup, or shaving her legs. She doesn’t get dressed up very often. She is random and sometimes silly.   1. “You’re so faaaaat”, “you got a big tummy”, “were you left alone in the kitchen?” For a good while, I have been so concerned as to what I would post on social media. I often edit photos to look “pretty”, “thin” or “sexy” as per society’s standards. When I became a mom, my body went through lots of change. Grew a human inside me so I got big - 72kgs. I breastfed for over a year and that made me lose a lot of weight - I was 52kgs then, looking all dry and drained. After I stopped breastfeeding, I started gaining back the weight and I basically over-ate. At my heaviest, I was at 69kgs. I suffered with body dysmorphia. I HATED MYSELF. Every bit of me pissed me off, to a point that I had little to no confidence at all. I was beating myself about it. And then, I had people telling me all these hurtful comments about my body that basically confirmed all these negative thoughts I have of myself. This year, I’m on a journey of rediscovering myself. I started taking care of myself, I consistently go to the gym and I have been eating good too. Surrounded myself with people that genuinely cares for me. I became more intentional to what I do and share. I AM HAPPY. I started posting the real me again. The goofy, flawed, raw ME. I know it will take a while to get where I want to be but I don’t mind it. I’m just enjoying the process. 🤍

  2. The last time I worked out was 2018. This is me getting my shit together again. 30 min walk in the treadmill after a full body workout with weights. I kid you not, my legs are super sore. It was daunting for me to go back to the gym. I dunno how to use all these machine and not actually having a plan as to what workouts to do. And I’m lucky enough to have a friend that offered to help me train. From today, I decided to be the kind of person who workout. Next time I’ll try to record myself to document my progress.   3. 2 years ago, I was a wreck. Stuck in a job where I was micromanaged, gaslit, overworked, and underpaid. I was so unhappy I cried in the washroom every single day. My personal life? Also a mess. It felt like everything was falling apart. I started job hunting — sent out hundreds of applications, did interviews, the works. One of them was this online interview with a company I never heard back from. I figured it was just another one I didn’t get. Then I landed a job at a startup — good pay, but I was doing literally nothing. Unstable, and I felt like I was wasting my time. Out of nowhere, I got a LinkedIn message: second interview with that company I forgot about. I didn’t even remember doing the first one (it was the online interview). I hesitated, but went for it — wore my yellow suit (because, why not?). It ended up being the longest interview of my life… right there and then, he offered me the job. Better pay, better benefits, and actual stability. I worried for a bit as I almost didn’t get it over one document. You know how they say, what’s meant for you won’t miss you? That was this moment. It literally opened doors for me, even windows. I was given opportunities one after another. And for the first time, I believed in myself. (Shoutout to my manager, who I annoy on the daily for a dopamine boost — but who also saw potential in me before I could see it myself.) Now, 2 years later… I’m about to renew my contract. I started as an admin. Today, I’m a certified first aid instructor — dragging a trolley full of manikins all over UAE, wearing my faded uniform (yes, I need a new one), and working through my social anxiety one course at a time.
