  1. Much like how a dog looks like it's owner, a car reflects the owner. With an initially unassuming outside, many quirks and details lie within. With the moonlight runners plate blank shroud mounted to the back, a barely visable plate mounted beneath the rear bumper can be seen poking out. A relatively small change you wouldn't expect to do much, but shifting the visual weight of the rear downwards without the use of a slit spoiler does wonders for the car. With the US spec arch trims just kissing the wheels, the flow of the cars lines are once again accentuated. Billy forgoes the common trope of hako spoiler usage on his Butame (like mine) with a droopyboy wing which has grown on me tremendously since first seeing it. Not something I believe would work on most cars, but with the soft face of an S1 and the light colouring of the cars paint it stays in keeping witj the design. My first proper USA based friend that introduced me into the culture and family of kaido racers, the reason I had the confidence to fly across the planet and get stuck in with Nonsuri and a wonderful goofball that housed me in my final week of LA, Billy Phu. His car is the burger version of mine, the Cressida, and the early face variant at that commonly referred to as an S1. With an extensive amount of tucking, shaving and notching done as well as a rear IRS swap to be more like his idol (me), as only the jdm corona grande like mine came with IRS from factory This allows him to fit wumbo Dunlop TEs on his foreskin shaded car, which also functions as his daily.   3. I believe you can learn alot about someone from 2 simple things. The way their car looks, and the way they look at their car. Billy's car isn't perfect. It's no complete shed, but it's used. The fibreglass is scraped, the paint has imperfections, the interior is worn and it makes the funny uh oh noises when it moves. That tells me, he loves his car, because he uses it. As for the way he looks at his car, it's a sense of profound satisfaction, mixed with an odd enslaved exhaustion. It's like a really shitty relationship, no matter what it throws at him, he cries a lil bit, picks himself up, and works to fix it. Every single time. And yet still, he finds himself looking at it with love. This is something I can painfully relate to, and I must say how odd it is driving something that looks vaguely like my car, but feels nothing like it.
