You’ll see what you actually need and what just collects dust in your wardrobe. 2. Carry a small “survival pouch” in your handbag. Panadol, plasters, lip balm, hair ties, mini perfume, pads, electrolytes. 3. Take sleep seriously from day one. Learn your blackout curtains, eye mask, magnesium, bedtime routine. Your body is your contract. If you don’t protect your rest, everything feels 10x harder. 4. Start saving from your first salary. Even if it’s 500–1000 AED/month. Time flies and so does your money. Future you will scream “thank you”. 5. Don’t compare your journey to other crew. Some people get “dream rosters”, some don’t. Some make best friends instantly, some need time. You’re not late. You’re just on your timing. 6. Use layovers wisely. Do one thing for your soul (walk, coffee, explore) and one thing for your body (sleep, stretch, good meal). You don’t have to “do the most” every city. 7. Protect your energy. You’ll meet all kinds of personalities. Be kind, be professional, but don’t absorb everything. Not every comment deserves a reaction. 8. Invest in 3 things: shoes, skincare, and a good suitcase. Your feet, your face, and your luggage suffer the most. Don’t torture them. 9. Document your journey. Take photos, videos, small notes. One day you’ll look back and realise how crazy and beautiful this phase was. 10. Remember why you applied. On the tired days, stressed days, OD flashback days — remind yourself of that girl who wanted this so badly. These are things I wish someone told me before training, rosters, time zones and 4am alarms. Save it, come back to it when you’re tired, overwhelmed or doubting yourself. You’re not alone, you’re just adjusting. ✈️

  3. Remember when I posted a story in January that I received a product from a brand that I always dream of collaborating with? Yup! Here it is! I’m finally sharing my review of @youthtothepeople 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum* after using it for 5 weeks. As you know, I have sensitive, eczema, and rosacea-prone skin. My skin can tolerate vit c serums with low concentration, anything higher than 10% made my skin feel warm and my rosacea would surely flare up. What I like about YTTP’s new vit c serum is that it’s made with 15% Vitamin C Complex (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, THD Ascorbate, and Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate) which makes it non-irritating. Ascorbic Acid is a very unstable ingredient, the next-generation formulations make it ultra-stable yet effective. I don’t have to worry about putting it in fridge all the time. It’s perfect as a morning serum because of its caffeine-rich ingredients Yerba Mate and Guayusa help reduce puffiness. It has antioxidants such as Passion Fruit and Dragon Fruit to help fight free radicals. It also has squalane to lock-in moisture whilst boosting skin hydration. The texture of this serum is silky and isn’t tacky. It glides on easily and gets absorb quickly. It doesn’t pill under sunscreen or makeup. You will see an instant plumping and brightening effect upon application. After 5 weeks of use, I noticed some improvements on my overall skin texture, I also recently had my skin tags removed and using this serum helped fade the hyperpigmentation faster than I expected. It doesn’t have any added fragrance but it reminds me of a perfume that I had when I was a teenager, it’s citrusy and gingery at the same time. No funky smell compare to majority of vit c serums. I definitely see myself purchasing one despite the heavy price tag because it’s a multipurpose serum that can cater to most of my skin concerns. I finally get it now why a lot of people love YTTP products. They also don’t test on animals and they only use recyclable packaging. Kudos! Have you tried any YTTP products?   3. So many of you asked me to share my current skincare routine and here it is - My current morning skincare routine. As you can see, my current daytime routine is all about light consistency products that doesn’t overwhelm my skin and allows it to breath in the humid Dubai weather. I pretty much love every single product that is featured here and would gladly recommend them all! . Featured products: I use @purito_official defense barrier cleanser in the mornings, which is really gentle to wash my face and after patting dry with a paper towel, I spritz the @107oneoseven rose vinegar water immediately. I Follow it up with @hanskin_official hyaluron Essence and @earthsrecipe energy boosting toner. I then use the Oneoseven coreflex cream essence, which I must say is one of the best essences I have tried. I am almost done with the @cnpcosmetics Propolis ampoule and I use half a dropper of it after the essence step. I finish my morning routine with the @commleaf_official rose blooming mist mixed with a drop of @haba_jp squalane oil. Since I usually leave to work early in the morning, I don’t wear sunscreen but whenever I go out from office during the day, I take the time to apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun . On days when I don’t have the time to do a 10 minute routine in the morning, I simply use few swipes of the @commleaf_official rose moisture pad, follow it up with hyaluron Essence and rose blooming mist mixed with haba squalane oil. This quick routine still helps in keeping my skin nice and supple to the touch . What do you think about having a diligent morning skincare routine? Is it too much?
