  2. Sometimes there’s mystery in what draws us to things, people or places… With Oahu, I can’t quite put my finger on it. I tried to explain it in an earlier post. I won’t try again 😀 A few weeks ago I took a helicopter ride over this island I love so much. I’d done that several times before, but not right over the Ko’olau Range, and not during sunset. Wowzers! I was feeling so happy and grateful, thanks @magnum_helicopters for showing me something I’d never seen before and giving me one more reason to love this place! I’m glad the island didn’t get hit by a missile.🚀(!) I’m curious to hear people’s reflections on how it felt to sit in that mental space for 30 minutes until it became clear it was a false alarm? I was not on the Island, and only heard about it after I knew it was not true. Today I saw death threats were being made against the worker who made the mistake. 😒I guess we know that a crisis always brings out the worst in people, but I bet it also brings out the best. Hoping to read some positivity here. 🙂

  3. Lately I’ve been meeting a lot of “lost” people that seem to suffer from a crisis of confidence. I’m trying to help where I can. You don’t always have to understand the path forward. It’s OK to be lost at times. Crisis begets growth. In fact, some research shows that crisis is one of the few things that can really change us after age 25. If you’re feeling this way, just know that things can change in a moment — a chance occurrence can change your life forever. In the meantime, fill your brain with good ideas, follow the signs that life is sending to you, be open to what’s possible. If you’re doing OK in life right now, give your smile and empathy to strangers and friends. We never know what someone is going through. What does all this have to do with this photo? Haha well, I suppose this photo gives me a feeling of hope and a reminder that life, despite its conflicts, is always a beautiful thing. 😀🌎📷🤙

  2. We are the inaugural Internet Invitational Champions!! It has been wild to keep this news a secret for 3 months now but so worth it. This event had some of the most exciting and nerve-racking moments that I have ever experienced in the game of golf. Beef, Francis, and I had such good chemistry and they truly showed up in some massive moments and I was so proud of them for doing it under the most pressure they have ever been under on a golf course. Beef: I know you are smiling looking down on us. I wish I had known you more before this event but I am so blessed that I got to spend 3 days with you in Branson. You were the nicest and most genuine person I have ever met and it is so unfair that the best people get taken away from us so often in this world. This whole series is a tribute to you and your family. We all love you and I’m so glad that we got to share this win together. Thank you @barstoolsports @foreplaypod @bobdoessports @stoolpresidente @bigcedarlodge and all the editors and cameramen that worked on this series for months. Every single one of you made this event into something seriously special. I’m still smiling ear to ear and I know Beef is doing the same as he’s probably giving a lesson and making more clutch putts up in Heaven. Until the next one!!

Now that my part in the Internet Invitational has come to an end, I feel like this is the time to share my other secret I’ve been keeping… Back in March, I was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. From April to June, I went through chemo, and at the end of June I had a bone marrow biopsy to check for leukemia and lymphoma. Because of all this, I wasn’t allowed to play golf for most of the year. When I told @stoolpresidente “I play sometimes,” and my handicap is between 5 and 8 I was just guessing because I was literally just getting back into it after months of medical obstacles. I had no idea he was going to ask me to play right after. With all that said and out of the way… WHAT. AN. EXPERIENCE. I’m genuinely so proud of myself for stepping up to compete for one million dollars with complete strangers, 150 cameras in my face, and everything I’d been walking through behind the scenes. If you know me at all you know how competitive I am, so not playing to my potential was eating me alive. Regardless, I’m SO incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It was truly amazing to be there during all the excitement! I met some of the best people and had more fun on the golf course than I have in a long time. I wish I could’ve played better golf for my teammates but I still feel like I played pretty good all things considering. To my family and friends: HUGE thank you. Y’all have been with me through the wildest season of my life, and your support means everything to me! I love yall. I’ve said it once and I’ll keep saying it over and over again but Glory to God. Always and forever. I truly am blessed, lucky and highly favored! Lastly - THANK YOU so much to all my new friends here! The overwhelming amount of support and love I have received literally across the whole world is so touching!! IVE BEEN KEEPING A HUGE SECRET!!!❤️ The first episode of the internet invitational is live and I think yall should tune in 👀 I was working this event at Big Cedar the night of the Internet Invitational draft and was feeling SO grateful just for the opportunity to be around and help out during this event. Well.. someone didn’t show up, and out of nowhere, they asked ME to step in and be part of it. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d get the chance to be apart of something so special. This small-town girl who grew up loving the game with all her heart suddenly found herself surrounded by some of the most incredible golfers and a huge opportunity to do what I have always dreamt of doing.. play golf! I’ve been keeping this secret for two months, and it’s finally timei get to share it… I did in fact play in the Internet Invitational. And let me tell you.. it was everything i could have ever dreamt of and more. I played some dang good golf, made memories I’ll never forget, and finished with a heart overflowing with gratitude!! Moments like this remind me that God’s plan is always greater than our own. You never know what He’s preparing you for behind the scenes. So whatever you’re doing and wherever you are right now just trust Him. Because when it’s your time, He’ll open the right doors in ways you never saw coming.
