  1. 📍The New Rain Kenyatta Road My friend shared a video of this spot, and I was sold😁 From the entrance, nature has claimed its spot, turning the restaurant into a serene oasis. 🌿🍃 The New Rain is a hidden gem with a picnic spot for nature and boat riding at Ksh600. They also have a kid's play area. It has both indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and unwind. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility! 🌳 The sounds of birds chirping are surreal❤️ The budget for food and drink is around Ksh3000 per person at most. If you have a group party, this place is ideal. I had Sirloin Steak and fries, which was soft and tender. @bryan.munene had Pork and Mukimo; they could have done better Mukimo; the pork was sweet and tender. @_its_kei_bundi ate Lamb, which was also sweet😁 The customer service is top-notch. From arrival to departure, we got exceptional treatment. Let me know how you find the spot when you visit😁

  2. 📍Kitonga Garden Resort is located in Machakos County, 2 hours away from Thika. When @joancodes said, would you like to join me in Machakos, I cleared my schedule so quickly 😂 There are two roads to access this place; Jojo recommends the Thika route as the road is better. If you are not sleeping @kitongagardenresort you have to pay an entrance fee of ksh1,,500 pp which is redeemable at the restaurant. The check-in process was a bit slow as KPlC did the thing, but they are in the process of going Green with solar(the resort opened in August) We got an upgrade for our room, which was up to standard and had beautiful views 😍 They have Ziplining (Ksh1,000), Archery, Swimming, and In-house games (100), which are great bonding activities. Hands down, the food was perfect. It was Fresh and yummy. The menu is also affordable for walk-ins. The service was a bit slow but gradually improved over time. They were kind enough to allow a late checkout.
