  2. Why is the headline always “Sunscreen is harmful”. 🙄 Instead of “Apricots are trying to kill you”. 🫢 Fact: Raw apricot kernels have been responsible for poisoning people due to their cyanide content. They are actually banned for sale in Australia as a food. Fact: Sunscreen helps protect people from skin cancer. And there is no evidence to suggest topical application causes harm. Why can people understand the concept of risk and dose when it comes to natural things. But refuse to apply the same rational thinking to things perceived as unnatural. I’m not a scientist, so when I first started trying to understand the science of beauty more, the phrasing was confronting. For example, when the TGA is asked “are sunscreens safe?” They will not say “Yes, they are safe.” They will say “sunscreens are low risk.” A scientific assessment of “low risk” is pretty much as good as it gets. Nobody can ever really claim there is no risk. This is the type of language you want. Because it shows they are weighing up the implications of sunscreen use across a wide spectrum of factors. And versus the alternative, which is being attacked by UV radiation. ☢️ Wellness influencers and clean beauty will often declare things in absolute terms. Something is automatically inherently toxic. Or it’s automatically safe. And neither of those things are true. Like with apricots. We definitely know apricot seeds can be toxic. And yet, you can still comfortably eat apricots for their health benefits. And probably ingesting a seed or two won’t lead to harm. But eat too many apricot kernels, and you could be hospitalised. Everything requires context. #cleanbeauty #skincaremyths

  2. I’m actually 35, not 23, but the app won’t let me change it. I know the best spot in town for tacos, and the first round is on me if we actually meet - here to find my partner in crime / travel buddy, not looking for a pen pal. If you don’t look like your pics, I’m drinking spicy margs until you do. I’ve done 33 countries and I’m certain that the stories about that time I got drunk, quit my job and woke up in Amsterdam will get you heaps hard. Give me your best travel trips for Japan. Golden retriever energy. ENFJ. Unusual skills involve getting my hoodie back after you stole it. Fluent in sarcasm. Love to laugh. And the quickest way to my heart? A knife ☺️ Dating me is like ordering six chicken nuggets and finding an extra one at the bottom of the bag. And my perfect Sunday? Clean sheets, ocean swims and coffee - duh! I don’t take myself too seriously and I’m hoping you don’t either. Good banter is a must. I enjoy going out, but also staying in. Saturdays are for the boys. Wombats poo cubes. Pineapple belongs on pizza. And one thing I must know about you? Does ketchup belong in the fridge or pantry? The biggest risk I’ve ever taken is downloading this app. Best way to ask me out? Just ask! About me? Just ask! I’ll fall for you if you trip me. Together we could rob a bank. Or we could chat for three weeks, never meet, and just watch each other’s instagram stories until we die. Not my fish. Not looking for drama. And 5ft 8, since apparently it matters.

  2. AXIS - Y - What Is Your Weather Beauty Box(5pc) AXIS - Y - Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum When I get eczema flare-ups I tend to scratch them and create a lot of scarring on my face. The scarring is very pigmented and fades very slowly. I've been using this to fade those scars. I also get really bad pimple scarrings no matter how small the pimple is, I still get a dark spot from it. But ever since I've started using pimple patches and this the scar is not even noticeable anymore and if it is it heals and fades super fast. - With my sensitive skin it did take a while for niacinamide the ingredient to stop irritating my skin about 2 weeks. So if you have sensitive skin do you keep this in mind. It's a great ingredient and worth the initial irritation - The texture is good not sticky and not greasy. Has squalane so it leaves a glow. - Evens out tone and brightens (rice bran, sea buckthorn and niacinamide) AXIS - Y - Spot The Difference Blemish Treatment I have super dry skin but I still get my monthly few pimples, during that time of the month This is what I use, this and pimple patches. My pimples seem to disappear faster, but it still leaves a mark but that is just how my skin is AXIS-Y-Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen I haven't tried this long enough to review, been a bit sick currently to leave the house #skincareroutine #kbeauty #makeup #skincare #koreanskincare #asianbeauty #asianskincare #skincaredaily #koreanbeauty #koreanmakeup #yesstyle #skincarehaul #asianmakeup #axisv#YesStyleInfluencers #yesstylereview #axisy_official

  3. Let me start by confirming that none of the products smell like onion Isntree - Onion Newpair Gel Cream This cream has 71% red onion extract for smoothing and tackling blemishes on skin, heartleaf extract to calm irritations, Vitamin C and tranexamic acid to even skin tone, and three types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin. The cream is gel like, absorbs super-fast. No sticky feeling. Its hydrating for a spot care product. Isntree - Onion Newpair Booster Shot 2000 This minimizes pores and refine uneven skin texture formulated with panthenol, hyaluronic acid and collagen in ultra-fine needle-shaped particles to mimic microneedling facial treatments, the booster shot delivers skin barrier and elasticity care along with intense hydration. Red onion extract aids absorption of active ingredients, while providing blemish care. I personally did not try this one out as my skin does not do well with all the “microneedling shot” products. Isntree - Onion Fresh Light Sun Stick Chemical sun stick is non-greasy and provides soothing and blemish care with muan red onion extract, niacinamide and acetyl glucosamine. Other ingredients like zinc PCA control sebum production to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores. This one is my favourite from the line its high suncare with skincare ingredients, considering you wear sunscreen every day, multiple times a day it seems like a great thing to get skincare benefits at the same time. Isntree - Onion Fresh Fluid Sun Cream Chemical sunscreen contains muan red onion extract to minimize blemishes while soothing skin. Other ingredients like niacinamide, carrot vegan collagen, Vitamin C and Vitamin E provide brightening, anti-aging and antioxidant benefits. This one is very weightless like liquid, absorbs seamlessly into skin without leaving a white cast or sticky feeling.
