  3. My relocation to the countryside was never premeditated. I never at any point saw myself moving to the village but circumstances brought me here. I’d like to believe that it was indeed God’s plans. I cannot say it was a bold move for me then lol because at that time I was so scared, so anxious and life in Nairobi had drained every ounce of joy and life I had in me. I moved to the countryside for work a year ago. But what began as a simple change of location slowly became my solace. Here, I found the joy that had been missing, quiet moments that let me breathe again and a calmness I never knew I how much I needed. I know I may not get to live here forever and will eventually move but I’m glad I get to experience this in this lifetime. So my darlings, in any situation that you may be in remember that sometimes, leaving isn’t giving up it’s choosing yourself and not every blessing looks like one at first, but time reveals the gift.
