  3. CO₂ Skin Resurfacing & Educational Overview! We are currently trialing a CO2. This device will form part of our fleet and form part of the treatment acne scar clinic and general rejuvenation concerns and more. CO₂ technology has been used in aesthetic practice for many years as a skin resurfacing method. It works by creating controlled micro-injuries to the skin’s surface, which encourages the body’s natural repair responses. Potential Benefits General information only! • Supports improvement in texture and surface irregularities • Helps the appearance of fine lines • Can assist with skin renewal • Encourages natural collagen-remodelling responses ⚠️ Things to Be Aware Of • Downtime can vary depending on intensity & preparation • Redness, swelling, & sensitivity may occur • Not suitable for everyone, professional assessment required • Requires strict aftercare to support skin recovery I’m currently performing training trial sessions as part of advanced practitioner development. These sessions are supervised and follow all appropriate safety protocols. 🔜 New CO₂ Device Coming Soon We’re excited to introduce a new-generation CO₂ platform to Vic Dermal Group soon, designed to offer precise, customisable resurfacing options. Disclaimer • This post is for general educational purposes only. • No therapeutic claims are being made. • Individual results vary, and suitability must be assessed by a qualified professional. • This information does not replace personalised medical or clinical advice. • No depiction or implication of “guarantee results,” “superiority,” or “comparison to other devices.” Please contact @vicdermalgroup for more information & BOOK a consultation! #co2 #skin #skinhealth #cosmetics #vicdermalgroup #skincare #beauty #acne #acnescar For more information contact @vicdermalgroup

  1. I first wanted to be a heart surgeon when I was eight years old. Fast forward 30 odd years and I made the difficult decision to walk away from the career that I had wanted for so long. Not because I stopped loving my actual job but because I had to. Because it was no longer tenable to stay in an environment where sexual harassment and assault, bullying, nepotism and bad behaviour was normal and people wouldn’t stop until they ran you as far away as possible. . The last ten years have seen so many “me too” moments in medicine where we think that surely now, the latest report of bad behaviour that disproportionately impacts female surgeons is the last straw. Yesterday, reporting of endemic unlawful behaviour in the NHS again made headlines. And yet again everyone is shocked. Or concerned about the devastating impact this kind of news has on the reputation of surgery and surgeons. . Where’s the concern about breaking the law? Where’s the concern about attrition of female surgeons? Where’s my compensation for therapy and loss of income and having to upend my life as a consequence of being called a useless f***ing c*** or being told that a colleague yelling at me while I took out someone’s lung for cancer was my fault? The outrage is not good enough. The courses and lip service and teaching women to be more assertive is bullshit. The men who get to keep their jobs while we all leave is disgraceful. . So you can shove your shock and outrage and change the system and make amends in a real way to those of us who were left to pick up the pieces
