  3. Now that my part in the Internet Invitational has come to an end, I feel like this is the time to share my other secret I’ve been keeping… Back in March, I was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. From April to June, I went through chemo, and at the end of June I had a bone marrow biopsy to check for leukemia and lymphoma. Because of all this, I wasn’t allowed to play golf for most of the year. When I told @stoolpresidente “I play sometimes,” and my handicap is between 5 and 8 I was just guessing because I was literally just getting back into it after months of medical obstacles. I had no idea he was going to ask me to play right after. With all that said and out of the way… WHAT. AN. EXPERIENCE. I’m genuinely so proud of myself for stepping up to compete for one million dollars with complete strangers, 150 cameras in my face, and everything I’d been walking through behind the scenes. If you know me at all you know how competitive I am, so not playing to my potential was eating me alive. Regardless, I’m SO incredibly grateful for this opportunity. It was truly amazing to be there during all the excitement! I met some of the best people and had more fun on the golf course than I have in a long time. I wish I could’ve played better golf for my teammates but I still feel like I played pretty good all things considering. To my family and friends: HUGE thank you. Y’all have been with me through the wildest season of my life, and your support means everything to me! I love yall. I’ve said it once and I’ll keep saying it over and over again but Glory to God. Always and forever. I truly am blessed, lucky and highly favored! Lastly - THANK YOU so much to all my new friends here! The overwhelming amount of support and love I have received literally across the whole world is so touching!! I’m hungry to start playing and practicing again and will be starting to make some videos for my YouTube channel soon! Go like and subscribe to follow along on this next crazy adventure! LOTS OF LOVE🫶🏼 📸 @mogieadamchik #internetinvitational #barstool #laceysnell #explorepages

  1. Finally getting around to my race day recap. A massive thank you to my brother for supporting me all day, and to everyone who messaged me. I saw them while running and they got me through some tough moments. Funny to think I originally thought I didn’t need anyone… I was VERY wrong. Big shoutout to the Howards too. Hopefully this gives anyone curious some insight, or even the confidence to sign up for an ultra. The Lead-Up: The days before the race I felt so sick. Weak, nauseous and barely able to stomach food. Could I have fuelled better? Absolutely. But I managed some carbs the day before and woke up feeling surprisingly good. Race Morning: I stayed @thestablesresortperisher right in Perisher Valley which was the most convenient thing ever. Two minute walk to the start. Weather was windy, but considering the rain and snow that arrived after the race, I’ll take it. The Race: This course was HARD. Huge elevation and long stretches completely alone. Those last 10km humbled me, especially the stairs to Eagles Nest in the dark after stacking it earlier. Reaching the summit was one of the best moments of the day, but I didn’t stay long because I was so keen to get down. It took me over 16 hours to finish. Truly the hardest thing I’ve ever done for myself. Fuel: I relied on @maplemovement, carb mix with @drinkhyro, banana, energy bars and milo at checkpoints. Honestly life changing. Warm milo might be the best race fuel ever. Training: Could I have trained better? Yes. CP & Narrabeen didn’t cut it. A course like this really demands elevation and time on proper terrain, so if you can get down to Kosci beforehand to cover parts of the course or at least get some training in above sea level, it would help massively. I followed a customised plan on @runna which was unreal and the tempo and hill sessions made such a difference. I also had to be smart coming off an injury in July/Aug, so I didn’t push big back-to-back long runs. My longest was a 50km a few weeks out, which actually felt great & gave me a lot of confidence going in. (link in bio) Gear: @hoka_au Mafate X, @feeturesaustralia socks (zero blisters!), & everything else I ran through on a separate video.
