  1. What a ride the last few months have been! Thank you so much to everyone who has messaged to check in and who have been there for me and my family, means the world! ♥️ For those asking what happened you know your girl has bad luck well a couple of months ago I noticed something was up with my cycles and found some lumps on my breasts so naturally panicked and went straight to my gp to check them out (always trust your gut friends). After scans on my breasts the conclusion was that they were hormonal (apparently this is a thing) and so I was left to deal with it. About a month later I was fed up with “dealing with it” so went to my Gynae @drtchiwangaobgyn for a second opinion to maybe try figure out which hormones so that we could balance them out potentially (you know modern medicine and all 🤷‍♀️). She was amazingly thorough and did bloods, pelvic scan and even an MRI (not so fun) where we noted that it was in fact not just hormones but rather that my c-section had opened partially internally and formed a niche and needed to be restitched before it got worse. Apparently this is a freak thing that can sometimes happen even though my emergency c section was over two years ago and had healed perfectly at all post checks so never ignore any irregularities in your body guys eek 😱. Anyways, with the help of her amazing team they successfully managed to do the op via laparoscopy knowing how much I really did not want open surgery with my running and recovery, and I am so beyond grateful to her and the hospital staff at @traumacentreborrowdale for their amazing care whilst I was there. And even more grateful to my hubby @rookennaird for holding down the fort at home so I can recover as needed! Beyond blessed with you all! More scars added to my body but so greatfull for its strength and keen to recover quick and get back into it! 💪🏻🫶🏻 Lots of love to you all and thank you again for all your kind wishes and messages! ♥️♥️♥️ #recoverymodeactivated #postopcare #runningwife #beyondblessed #thankful🙏
