Not everyone in this corner of the internet will understand or agree with all my life choices, and just to clear, that is absolutely 💯 ok with me, I respect a difference of opinion. But I just wanted to share just one, of the many thousands of messages I receive, every single time I normalise boys wearing princess dresses like @fabulousbyteddy “Seeing Teddy have the confidence to not only write his Christmas list exactly as he wanted it, but to know that it would be received by his parents without any kind of reaction other than acceptance, has literally brought me to tears, I remember as a young boy being too afraid to ask for a doll and writing what I thought my parents wanted me to ask for. Please keep sharing, it has more impact than you will ever know”. I usually lose a few hundred followers when I post him, which I hope goes some way to showing that my motivations are of the very purest kind.   1. A little update for all those that have asked about and shown kindness to my sister-in-law Kristina. Most of you will remember that some months ago I shared her story regarding her suffering a horrific brain stem stroke. Kristina is locked in her body, paralysed and can not swallow, eat, drink or talk as she tragically has no reflux and that’s part of the aftermath when having a brain stem stroke. So many of you were so kind helping us share her story not to mention the very generous donations from so so many of you to her Go fund me page. Kristina was so overwhelmed and grateful to every donation and personal message that was sent to her. We, her care team and other family members made sure we read them all to her and it’s spurred us on with our funding trying to give Kris a better quality of life in so many ways. Kris finally moved into her flat. I can’t tell you how amazing it has been being able to visit her again. Her comfort and wellbeing is paramount for her mental state so we have just been able to purchase the best mattress and seat base for her wheelchair. We are also hoping to buy a machine that will convert liquids to a gas so Kris will be able to enjoy tasting drinks again without swallowing. This will make such a difference for her being able to join us for a drink when we see her. Prayers this will happen soon all being well and if agreed by the health professionals. As in the picture, we had a lovely birthday celebration with her, with family and all her care workers. It was a lovely day! Sadly since her birthday, Kris has been admitted to hospital surgery imminent so we are praying and routing for her to be back home soon so we can have more family visits and family time not to mention my Karl can keep the banter going with his big sister. Kris! We are continuing to fundraise for Kris because she will always need specialist equipment that cannot be funded by our wonderful NHS. Thank you again from Kristina and us her family.
