In March 2024, I went paragliding in Bir Billing. The freedom, the sky, the wind — it was surreal. But disaster struck when another pilot crashed into my glider mid-air, tearing my parachute. I fell helplessly, watching my life flash before me. I closed my eyes and felt something beyond this world, maybe Mahadev, but I missed seeing Him. I woke up broken — with fractures in L1, L2, L3, L4, T12, and dislocated discs between L4-L5 and L5-S1. Dr doubted I’d walk again, let alone run or climb. Everything I’d built shattered in a moment. But inside me, a flame refused to die. More than One year of brutal therapy followed — pain, tears, frustration — but one voice whispered, “You will not end like this.” Supported by family, friends, and faith, I fought back. Five hours of rehab daily, moving a finger, then a toe, standing, stepping. I postponed my course to April 2025 and trained harder than ever, carrying a 35kg pack on rugged trails. Against all odds, I completed my Advanced Mountaineering Course and climbed again with the legs once declared useless. At the summit, I whispered, “I didn’t see You when I fell, Mahadev, but I know You’ve been here all along.” This is not just a comeback — it’s a rebirth. To anyone broken or in pain: you are not finished. You are being rebuilt. With love, faith, discipline, and willpower, you can survive anything. I was feeling alone, lost and far from home. Many thoughts were running in my mind and that I might have to leave the course was one of the most worrying. Till evening all my course mates understood that I was sick. From fourth day all my course mates were asking about my health. My roommate bought mineral water for me. They were asking me to join them for food. And helped me to go to a doctor. Wow — I was feeling special. You know guys this world is full of good people. Come out of the box. Travel more.
