  3. ✨ 🧿 Growing up I didn’t understand female friendships or knew the importance of having some good girl friends around. I still don’t really know how the 4 of us clicked. We are all so different, come from different backgrounds and were at such different places in our lives when we first met and truth be told I just thought this was going to be a seasonal friendship. YKWIM! Our BALI Trip 🌼 was the starting of this beautiful bond (I mean the order of life is such that you become friends and then take a trip together but here we were all just acquaintances who just needed a break from life) I still remember how I was so anxious and uncertain before taking this trip that I almost backed out before reaching the airport. 🙈 Looking back, I’d have definitely missed out on an extremely beautiful relationship called sisterhood! In my life, I had become that person who has her 3-4 friends and didn’t let anyone in too easily(still don’t) cos I am a people pleaser and I am scared of the aftermath of a relationship not working out and having a conflict with someone. 🥲 But, these girls are redefining friendships for a cynic person like me. 😭🥹 The way they have allowed me to take my time when I withdraw, understand my emotions, my insecurities, check on me when I space out without enforcing their opinions too strong is what I believe has helped me get a lot lot closer to them. I had my good days and bad days during my pregnancy and it would not be the same without them… They made me feel seen and heard… and for that I am extremely grateful… You girls have pampered me too much and that feeling usually scares me but not anymore… You girls are my safe space!!!!! 🌹🌹🌹 Thank you for taking care of me, feeding me, loving me and making me feel special during this phase of my life. I am really happy that my daughter(blushing while I am saying this)☺️ has all of you around to look upto while growing up!!!   3. What would you have done? 🥹 This was long due! I have been holding this story for the last couple of years that absolutely changed the landscape of my life, of everything that I believed I wanted, and of everything that came my way - sometimes like a storm and sometimes like the much-needed cool breeze on a hot day. 😌 Growing up in a middle-class family, all that was taught to me was to study hard, score well and get into the best college, and maybe clear the UPSC exam one day. The path was paved much before I realised. 🤓 Mehnat kar ke IIT toh pohonch gaya but wahaan toh ek alag duniya hi wait kar rahi thhi. I didn’t realise when engineering took a backseat and my passions started driving my life journey. 🤩 But 4 years later, reality slapped and before I knew it, I was chasing deadlines, stuck in huddles, team meetings, chai breaks became my respite from a world that gave me everything and yet made me feel empty.😣 Until, I met my real-life Naina...😍 Kahaani toh bas abhi shuru hui hai, don’t forget to FOLLOW FOR PART 2. #travelcouple
