Many people confuse the iconic Tower Bridge (that remains in London) with the real London Bridge. However, the two are different and the latter was bought and moved to this Arizona town by Robert McCulloch in the 1960s. 💰 Bidding on the bridge for $2.4 million - Robert had a hunch and hope that this iconic piece of British history would drive growth to his tiny town. 😮 The purchase even included the ornate lampposts (as seen in my reel) made from the melted-down cannons captured by the British from Napoleon's army, after the Battle of Waterloo in 1815! And …You can even see World War II graffiti on the bridge of two U.S. servicemen names! 🗺️ Visitor’s can download a self-guided tour map for their visit! It helps point out significant features, facts and more! ⛵️ Lake Havasu in itself is worth visiting! Known as The Personal Watercraft Capital of the World - there’s plenty for visitors to see and do! Along with stellar views! But, the bridge adds a little something extra to it all.. if you ask me! 🍻 Eat & drink along the water? Shugrue's Restaurant and Brewery Group, The Chair and Javelina Cantina. 🛌 Where to stay? There are so many options! For campers - there’s no shortage of RV parks right along the water! Same goes for hotels (like the London Bridge Resort). ❓Who wants to be transported to London and visit this fascinating & famous landmark now in Arizona?!   1. Raven Cliffs Falls is a favorite hike in the Helen, GA area right next to Dukes Creek Falls (do both in the same day). The video doesn’t capture the beauty. Roughly 5 miles round trip through a lush valley with Mountain Laurel and Rhododendrons. This must do hike follows a beautiful stream with many waterfalls along the way until you reach cliffs with a unique waterfall shooting right through it (and another waterfall behind it that the video didn’t capture). A rock scramble can take you to the top of this waterfall if you choose, most people end their hike here though. You will have a stream crossing at the very beginning of the trail but there is a log that you can cross on if you have good balance. This is a beautiful corner of Georgia 🌄—Route 136 offers sweeping mountain views, and Monument Rd opens up to even more stunning vistas. 📍 Tobacco Pouch Trail (Fall Creek Falls) is a less-traveled hike—perfect if you’re looking for some solitude. It’s about 5 miles round-trip, located near Dawsonville, just 1.5 hours north of Atlanta. You’ll need either a land pass or a hunting/fishing license to access it. 🐾 Dogs are allowed, but expect a workout for both of you! 🥾 The trail is strenuous for most: downhill on the way in and all uphill on the way back. Though it begins on a forest service road, the rewards are huge—winter views through the trees, tangled mountain laurel, and one of the best waterfalls in Georgia. 💧 You’ll cross a few streams (all manageable), before reaching the 60-ft Fall Creek Falls, tucked deep in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Fun fact: Fall Creek Falls is part of a rugged watershed that feeds into the Etowah River, a historically important river for both the Cherokee people and early settlers of North Georgia.

  3. The video doesn’t capture this one. One of our favorite waterfalls in North Georgia. Minnehaha Falls is a 60 foot multi tiered cascading waterfall that is absolutely stunning. It is a short kid friendly hike. There is a lot to explore in Lakemont, one of our favorite areas of Georgia. 📍Lakemont, GA 🥾Only a 0.4 mile hike RT 🚗 1.5 hours from Atlanta 🛣️ Very well maintained dirt road to get to it - easy! 🅿️ Limited parking 🐶 Pups allowed
