  3. ✨ 🧿 Growing up I didn’t understand female friendships or knew the importance of having some good girl friends around. I still don’t really know how the 4 of us clicked. We are all so different, come from different backgrounds and were at such different places in our lives when we first met and truth be told I just thought this was going to be a seasonal friendship. YKWIM! Our BALI Trip 🌼 was the starting of this beautiful bond (I mean the order of life is such that you become friends and then take a trip together but here we were all just acquaintances who just needed a break from life) I still remember how I was so anxious and uncertain before taking this trip that I almost backed out before reaching the airport. 🙈 Looking back, I’d have definitely missed out on an extremely beautiful relationship called sisterhood! In my life, I had become that person who has her 3-4 friends and didn’t let anyone in too easily(still don’t) cos I am a people pleaser and I am scared of the aftermath of a relationship not working out and having a conflict with someone. 🥲 But, these girls are redefining friendships for a cynic person like me. 😭🥹 The way they have allowed me to take my time when I withdraw, understand my emotions, my insecurities, check on me when I space out without enforcing their opinions too strong is what I believe has helped me get a lot lot closer to them. I had my good days and bad days during my pregnancy and it would not be the same without them… They made me feel seen and heard… and for that I am extremely grateful… You girls have pampered me too much and that feeling usually scares me but not anymore… You girls are my safe space!!!!! 🌹🌹🌹 Thank you for taking care of me, feeding me, loving me and making me feel special during this phase of my life. I am really happy that my daughter(blushing while I am saying this)☺️ has all of you around to look upto while growing up!!! I love you!!! @ambatibhargavi @niharikakonidela @vithikasheru ❤️❤️❤️ 📸 none other than @siddhu.soma ✨🩷 @vowsbysiddhusoma 📍 @mahishmatifarmstays

  3. The simplest & most delicious Mango Cheesecake... A recipe that uses just 4 ingredients for the cheesecake filling, this is the quickest, eggless, no bake mango cheesecake I've ever made! I've got a load of DMs and recipe requests for mango based desserts now that the mango season is here, so I'm sharing another delicious, no fuss recipe. I really liked how this came together, almost like magic. I have a high speed blender so I just threw everything into it and had a smooth cheesecake batter in a couple of minutes. Alternatively, you can puree and strain the mango separately, then whisk everything together with a hand blender to get a smooth batter. The white chocolate adds enough sweetness and helps the cheesecake set. Hope you try this recipe soon! #mangoseries No Bake Mango Cheesecake Makes one 4" cheesecake Serves 2 Biscuit base 50g Digestive biscuits 15g clarified butter/ghee, room temperature Cheesecake filling 135g mango, diced 125g white chocolate, melted 150g cream cheese, softened 35g cream, 25% fat Method Biscuit base Run the biscuits in a blender to fine crumbs. Add the clarified butter / ghee and process briefly to mix. Turn into a 4" foil lined dessert ring, flatten into a base and freeze until firm. Cheesecake filling Blend all 4 ingredients together in a high speed blender until smooth. Assemble Demold the biscuit base, secure an acetate sheet around the frozen biscuit base and spoon in the filling. Set in the freezer for 3-4 hours until firm, peel off the acetate sheet and leave the cheesecake to set in the fridge overnight. Top the cheesecake with a white chocolate ganache and mangoes etc. #cheesecake #egglesscheesecake #nobake #noegg #nobakecheesecake #mangolovers #mangocheesecake #cheesecakelovers #cheesecakelover #nobake #mango #Indiansummer #mangodessert #mangolover #4ingredientcheesecake #simplerecipe #dessertideas #sogood #noeggs #easyrecipes #egglessdessert #pabrecipes #vegetariandesserts #mangoseason

  1. PESHAWARI QISSA KHAWANI KHEER This isn’t your everyday kheer. This is the iconic Qissa Khawani Kheer — a 70-year-old recipe born in the heart of Peshawar’s Qissa Khwani Bazaar. What makes it special? A velvety blend of cooked rice, rusk, milk powder, and milk, slow-cooked to a rich, creamy perfection, and elevated with a touch of caramel for that deep, unforgettable flavour. One bite, and you’ll know why this kheer has been passed down like a delicious secret for generations. Wardrobe @thedressrobe2020 Ingredients pinned 📌 in comments. Method: Step 1: Prepare the creamy base 1. In a blender, combine cooked rice, rusk, milk powder, and half a cup of milk. 2. Blend it into a smooth, lump-free mixture. This gives the kheer its iconic texture. 🔸 Step 2: Cook the kheer 1. In a deep, heavy-bottomed pan, pour the remaining milk. 2. Add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder (if using), and chopped nuts. 3. Let it come to a boil on medium heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes. 🔸 Step 3: Add the rice-rusk mixture 1. Now pour in the blended mixture slowly while stirring continuously. 2. Cook on low flame, stirring often, until the kheer thickens — about 10–15 minutes. You’ll notice it becoming velvety and luscious. 🔸 Step 4: Make the caramel 1. In a small pan, melt 2 tbsp sugar on low heat till it turns golden brown. 2. Immediately (but carefully), pour it into the kheer and stir it in. This adds a deep, nutty sweetness and signature flavour. 🔸 Step 5: Cool & garnish 1. Let the kheer cool to room temperature, then chill it for a few hours. 2. Garnish with more sliced nuts and saffron before serving. Pro Tips: For a smokier depth, you can even burn slightly the caramel before adding. This tastes even better the next day once flavors mature. #kheer #kheerrecipe #peshawar #peshawari #recipe #recipes #cooking #qissakhwani Do you like Kheer?

  1. This fermented Amla pickle (in brine, not oil) is a winter staple that packs in both Vitamin C + probiotics in the most natural and easy to prepare form. I’m always stunned at how the humblest of local produce contains exactly what the body needs for optimal health- like Amla which happens to be one of the richest sources of Vitamin C, with just one small amla containing more Vitamin C than 2 whole oranges. If we look closely, there’s wisdom in our cultural practices like आवळीभोजन- a bygone practice that both my father and father-in-law recall from their childhood days, when women would not just worship but also have a meal under the Amla tree on Kartik Navami. It’s Kartik Navami tomorrow, and while we might not have the time or an amla tree to sit and have a meal under, surely we can go into our local markets to get some amla to make our own annual tradition of valuing, cooking with and consuming this local superfood. Here’s the simple recipe for this quick pickle that is ready in just 3-4 days, stays in the fridge for upto 6 months and makes a great healthy side for meals. Wash and clean the amlas.  Now my mother-in-law’s recipe pricks the amlas all around with a fork, so the salt solution seeps through, but you can also make slits.  Make the brine- the ratio is 30 gms (2 heaping Tbsp) salt for 1 litre of water. Mix this well. Filtered water is fine. My mother-in-law eyeballs the salt (and later checks the saltiness and adjusts), so I checked the ratio with fermentation queen Payal @kobofermentary Now add this brine to a clean glass jar and drop in the pricked amla. Don’t fill the jar to the brim- keep some space for the bubbles. Keep in a cool, shaded place for 3-4 days- tasting and mixing it each day. After 3 days the astringency should have reduced and you should see small bubbles. Now, I like to refrigerate this so it doesn’t get too sour/ spoil, and have successfully kept it for upto 6 months.  [amla, seasonal food, traditional recipe, Ayurveda, healing food, immunity, fermented, winters, pickle] #marathifood #indianfood #amla #gooseberry #vitaminc #naturalvitamins #winterfoods #fermentedfoods #ayurvediclifestyle #winterrecipes

  2. These fudgy coconut squares/ ओल्या नारळाच्या वड्या, possibly the easiest sweet you can make for Diwali. These need just 4 ingredients and the end results (like, but better the inside of a bounty bar! as a friend exclaimed) never disappoint. I made these in a rush, due to our altered Diwali plans, and was happy to find a reliable partner in @instamart for the ingredients of course, but also for a sturdy steel Kadhai to make this preparation. What’s more, I found cooking essentials like oil added to my cart almost for free (a mere 9 Rs) with my Kadhai purchase, a sweet surprise indeed. So, this festive season light up your kitchen & home with the great collection & offers at @instamart As for the recipe, here goes In a heavy-bottomed Kadhai, combine 2 heaping cups of freshly grated coconut/ 180 gms 1 cup of sugar/ 260 gms 2 Tbsp water Heat this on medium heat While the mixture is cooking, bloom a fat pinch of saffron strands in 1 Tbsp water warm water Cook down the coconut-sugar mixture till it no longer bubbles- this will take 10-12 mins. Add the bloomed saffron, cook down some more till the water evaporates but the mix starts coming together as a ball. Turn off the flame, add 1/4 tsp ground cardamom Mix well. Turn it onto a plate greased with ghee/ coconut oil. Pat onto the plate, add an optional handful of chopped nuts, and when it cooles slightly (but not completely) cut into squares. Enjoy! #ad #InstaTyohaar #diwali #diwalisweets #marathifood #indianfood #festivefood #dhantrayodashi #dhanteras
