  3. Ok, so I’m in my feels today. My babies had their first (half) day of school! The morning didn’t go as smoothly as planned - surprisingly not because of school jitters, but because I didn’t do the pony tails in the exact way that was expected of me haha, went over the hair a few times. There were some nerves on the way to school, but zero tears before or during - yay!! So I would say first day was a success. I was even able to get Franki to stand still for a few pics, which is a challenge of its own. Tomorrow will be a whole day, and Mommy can start organizing my life. My house. My brain.   2. Just watched the new Lilo & Stitch live-action movie and I truly think it’s one of Disney’s best adaptations yet. It stays so true to the heart of the original, while adding even more depth to Lilo and Nani’s story—Maia Kealoha is an absolute star as Lilo! I was a little worried about how the alien scenes would translate into live action (especially for younger kids), but they handled it in such a sweet and thoughtful way. My daughter was especially nervous about one of the original alien characters, and was so relieved when he didn’t show up—it made the whole experience way more enjoyable for her. This movie is a perfect pick for Canadian families looking for a feel-good film that’s full of heart, sisterhood, and Disney magic.
