  2. A little behind-the-scenes peek into what’s running through my head when I’m editing your wedding photos: When I edit I always remember that I want to bringing you back into your memories. Back to the way the air felt. The colour of the sky. The way the light wrapped around your shoulders. I want your final images to feel alive with reality — with natural skin tones, true-to-life foliage, skies that sing, and colours that breathe. But sometimes, to really do the moment justice, I have to dig deep into my @adobe toolkit. Cameras do an incredible job at capturing the *moment*, but editing is where you rebuild the *atmosphere* — the hush, the joy, the golden hum of twilight that invites you to stay in stillness a little longer before giving in to the slow creep of dark that demands your presence on the dance-floor. For Kimi & Allan’s portraits, I pulled out every @lightroom trick I knew to recreate the soft rose-gold haze of the setting sun and hint at the blue hour rolling in. It was the very last breath of daylight — and I wanted the photos to remind them of the colour of the night and reflect both the stillness of their final solo moments on the Savannah and the anticipation of a truly wild night with their friends and family.
