Opportunity to build equity & create a space perfect for YOU. I practice what I preach and we proudly bought the house with the choppy floor plan & outdated...everything! When we purchased our house a few years back, we bought it for the LOCATION. I knew my soul needed to be close to nature, water + walking trails and it didn’t matter to me what the interior looked like - I needed to be here. Although it was not my taste, it was livable and I knew we could create magic over time. This project has been years in the making - saving (biggest one & I’ll share tips about this), doing a lot of the work ourselves and of course being kitchen-less (for 3+ months🤯), among the many other renos you guys have seen us tackle. I’m sharing our little labour of love to show you guys you can do this too and to not be afraid of the less attractive houses during your home search (because they = $, if you have an open mind). If you find a location that speaks to you but the house isn’t your dream home - don’t write it off because of the wallpaper, funky floors and original kitchen. Try to look beyond the cosmetics and see it’s true potential! Why pay a premium for someone else’s upgrades, when someone will pay for yours? 👊🏼 This is our before & after kitchen remodel. I’m so sorry this world wasn’t very nice to you. I wish there was more that I could’ve done to show you theres more to life than you can see. We had so many plans, we were supposed to travel the world. Even before we started dating you were such a good friend. I am so happy I got to fall in love with you and see the boy you really were. I will always be your girl, i’m rooting for you even from down here. You were the best thing to ever come into my life. Bub, you were so handsome, you had such pretty hair and you kept it long for me even though I know you wanted to cut it real short. You were always best dressed, you always had to make sure your fit matched your hat and shoes. I love you Luke. You showed me what it feels like to have someone really truly love you. Im so glad I got to spend thanksgiving, your birthday and christmas with you, you made everything so fun. You did so much for my family and I, they miss you as well. You will forever be on my mind and that will never change. I wish we could be in the car right now telling each other our life stories and our long deep talks.

  2. oh kaitlyn. my sweet best friend, i have no words but i have words to describe you and our friendship. i wish this wasn’t real. you had my back for 5 years. even if i was in the wrong, you guided me. you helped me more than any person i know and shaped me into the person i am today. you never failed to help put a smile on my face and you always made sure i was good. you have such a giving soul kaitlyn, you were the friend i needed. you could have put kp and i together in a room and we would’ve been a comedy club. we did everything together, had each others backs like sisters. you have a family who is so loving and caring and im so thankful for them. i am so happy to have met you kaitlyn. you didn’t deserve this, i need my best friend. i will forever cherish our time together. you were the smoker and i was the drinker. we fit perfectly together. oh kaitlyn. thank you. all i can ever say is thank you. you changed my life, you always made sure even though i was struggling you were there. you were the best shoulder to cry on, the best friend to hug, the best person to laugh with. you would always help me pull my bowls and i could never get the hang of it. you would always get grossed out at my sexual jokes towards you, but then you eventually started throwing some back at me haha. i have nothing but love for you sweet girl. you taught me things i didn’t even know i needed. i will always remember our random drives, or when i lived with you for a few months which were the most important months of my life. we had our ups and downs but looking back we fought like sisters. i could share every memory we have but i would be typing for hours. we gave off the same energy and thats why we clicked so hard. i looked up to you in everyway possible because you stayed positive always. kaitlyn was never open to trying any new food she would stick to her basics and i always wanted her to try other things. i never believed she didn’t like cheese LOL but she really didn’t. she was the most basic eater i have ever known. i loved how we could just sit and talk and just vibe for hours.
