We could not be prouder of his determination these past two years as his goal was to get accepted to Bill Crothers Sports School to continue with his love of soccer.   3. Surprise!!!! We got a dog 🐶For those of you that know us we have had animals all our lives, but covid had other plans for our family. At a time that the entire family was home and could spend more time with our animals we had to say goodbye to our last dog Kahlua and cat Terra 😢 So for the last year and a half our kids have been asking us for a dog. Allegra would not live it down she insisted day after day a and somehow turned any conversation into how to get a dog🐶🤣. Well it worked! In January I saw @jamesfamilyfarm who is one of my Instagram friends post about her friend @life_at_greystone who had just had a litter of puppies. I instantly messaged Dallas and inquired about her friend Sharon and immediately got my name on the list for the next litter. AND of course I had to share the secret with @elenamontagnese who also got her name quickly on the waiting list and we were able to share this secret and process together and surprise our families when coming home with 2 dogs 🐶🐶 brothers who will be able to grow up together 🥰 So for the past 8 months we became besties 😂with Sharon from @life_at_greystone as she was an amazing wealth of knowledge and shared every detail of the process and we got to watch the birth of our now new family member Alfie 🐶. It was such an amazing process one we will forever be grateful for and we can’t wait to start memories with Alfie. He sure has put some smiles on our faces for the past few days and I couldn’t thank @jamesfamilyfarm and @life_at_greystone enough 🙏❤️. The greatest Gift from above; the days just before Mommy found out you were coming were some of Daddy's toughest times. The loss I experienced was so hard to casually carry on, I've never felt such a void as I did when your Nonna Isabella left us. So much of these feelings changed the day your Mother told me she was pregnant, I laughed, i shouted and cried as it was clear that someone was looking out for us from up above. When we did the reveal I always had a gut feeling you were a boy, but after that day I knew my mom was listening to Me, and since the day you were born we feel her presence through you so much more! The name Dante means "an enduring man, strong, everlasting" Dante this name for you is so perfect as I see your strong everlasting love and bond with Mommy, just as I had with my Mom. That love lasts forever and I thank you for everyday how you show so much of it to our entire family, and remind me of my love for my Mom. You are a blast of fresh air and captivate the entire room with your smile and twinkling blue eyes! You bring people down to your calm state and somehow comfort others even without saying a single word to them. You're down for the snuggle, long car rides, or walks with the fam, as long as you got Mama in sight you're grooving! When you imitate my silly noises or funny gestures I go from peeing my pants to sliding off a tear coming down my cheek. I'm so proud of everything you've done so far and how you fit so perfectly in our crew! I look forward to the many more F1 races, the too early to talk to anyone morning snuggles, and the "get out of my way Ilaria I'm watching TV" moments to come!   2. I was scrolling through old pictures and found the pic on the left from October 2020. That was about 2 weeks into my workouts with @strongerwithluisa. I couldn’t believe how different I looked in this pic. Yes, I was by no means over weight, but my body had no shape, and absolutely no tone. More importantly, I was feeling winded, tired and once I started this program, that all changed. I was back on track, working out and teaching yoga, what i love. I was also committing to my yoga practice once again. The pic on the right is from yesterday. I was wearing the same tank, and noticed what a difference in my body. Not only have I lost weight, but my body has become trim and strong. This made me smile. I immediately sent it to @luisa_curia to show her what her encouragement and love have accomplished. She was so happy to see these results. The purpose of this post is to show you that no matter your size, working out and keeping your body healthy is so important.
