Couldn’t find it. So I moved on. Last weekend, a gentleman named Desmond reached out to me. Turns out I lost it at a WWE event at Rogers Centre on March 1st - and Desmond works there.   1. FRIED CHICKEN!! Hot and honey + lemon pepper This was a collab of epic proportions!! Finally got the chance to cook with my brother @theheartbreakchef and the results did not disappoint. His award winning fried chicken is known throughout the city to be some of the best you can get anywhere and after watching this video you’ll understand why. Also shout out @merrysomers for the amazing fermented hot sauce used in this recipe. Recipe, 4 boneless chicken thighs 500ml buttermilk 20ml hot sauce 2 cup all purpose flour 1 tablespoon salt 2 tablespoons garlic powder 2 tablespoons onion powder 2 tablespoons paprika 2 teaspoons black pepper Pour you buttermilk over your chicken thighs with the hot sauce. Throughly mix and set aside in fridge for a couple hours to marinate. In a medium bowl mix all of your dry ingredients together to form the dredge for the chicken. When ready remove from buttermilk and throughly coat in the flour, don’t be shy. Shake off any excess flour and fry at 325 degrees for about 5 minutes per side depending on how large you thighs are. Lemon pepper; Mix together, 2 tablespoons coarse salt, dried lemon peel - 5 lemons worth, 1/2 cup ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder For the lemon peel set your oven to its lowest setting. Peel five lemons zest only and put them on a tray lined with parchment paper. Bake them very slowly until dried out completely. Blend in spice grinder.
