None of us have gone to a horse race in the city before so it was a really great experience to share. The buffet seating area gets filled up very quickly so making a reservation a week in advance is recommended. There was a salad bar, dessert bar, and more entree items by the prime rib. I love a brunch spot that also sells pastries 😍 🥖 🥮 @cottagebakerymb COTTAGE BAKERY 📍300 Edison St 📍1382 Pembina Hwy Did not expect for cottage bakery to have a sit down restaurant whenever I drive past it. I was really just expecting pastries 😂 I’m so glad I was wrong and decided to dine in. Highly recommend any of their dishes that has the hollandaise sauce. I did see that they also have a lunch menu so I’ll come back and try that next 🙂‍↕️ I have never seen a variety of croissants before. They had regular, chocolate, lemon, pistachio, red velvet, dulce de leche, cinnamon, cheese, almond, spinach feta and banana nutella 🤯 They also have cakes, tarts, breads, and macarons. They were THAT good. The cream puff and croissant were also super creamy.   1. Yesterday our sweet Navy boy had a brain bleed in connection with the bleeding disorder that both he and Banks have. He required emergency surgery to remove the blood putting pressure on his brain. 💔 It was the scariest moment of our lives. He made it through and is currently recovering in PICU. There are no words for how much we love him and how grateful we are to have him here with us. He is so strong and so special.

  2. Two years sober from percs alcohol(1 slip up in 10 years) and blow on February 24th—who would’ve thought? Not me. If you told past me that I’d go two whole years without touching that stuff, I probably would’ve laughed in your face (or asked if you had any). But here I am, still standing, still thriving, and most importantly, still remembering what I did last weekend. Apparently, when you hit two years sober, the universe rewards you. I don’t know exactly how yet, but I’m expecting something good—like a check in the mail, a six-pack (of abs, not beer), or maybe just a really solid nap. Either way, I know I’ve already been rewarded with clearer skin, a functioning brain, and the ability to hold a conversation without grinding my teeth. To anyone out there struggling: it gets better. And to anyone still partying like I used to: take a nap, drink some water, and maybe reconsider. Life on this side is a whole lot funnier, way less expensive, and comes with a better memory. Here’s to two years and many more. Now, where’s my reward?

  3. ATTENTION: Hey guys. Well.... we got some bad news and some good news. Bad news January 30th will be my last day at @rehab4hair i appreciate everything the team and my boss have or has done for me but it was time for me break up with my boss. We had a long talk and she was so encouraging. She’s the best boss i ever had love you @cutsbycass as for the good news. I have decided even tho i didn’t want to. I got a space back in my old stomping grounds to cut hair. I said i never wanted a shop unless i got this specific space. Well 9 years later i finally got the opportunity to get the space so i did. I would like to thank everyone that made this happen and I’d like to thank all FUCKIN CLIENTS for supporting me and pushing me to do this!!!!
