I’m a sucker for their parfaits and to this date I still have yet to try maybe half of their parfait menu 😂 I’ll get there one day! Their ice cream is super creamy. Their parfait feature this month is the Easter parfait 🥚 I stopped by yesterday and finally tried their Vegan parfait and it tastes just as good as their regular parfait. It’s nice to see there’s a lot of options for those who are lactose intolerant (like a some of my family members).   2. Original clip was 5:40 of tests 😅❤️ The finished product is so often all that you see on here. Behind it is a lot of time, sweat, & scraps.😅 As cool as a complex choreography combo might LOOK, it still has to work and make sense. Which means you need to be able to break it down and build it up.⛰️ It’s not always flawless, and it doesn’t always land. There’s been a few times I thought a combo would SLAY and whether it was that the song choice was too short, too quick, too flat, or my delivery was too rushed, too cramped, too confusing, it’s not always perfect.🤷🏼‍♀️ But the best way to work it out is on the bike & in the room.✨ So here’s some behind the scenes of trying to make this one work & what the end result was. Keeping in mind, that the practice clips were literally almost 6 minutes long, but that’s not even factoring in the time prior that I spent at home listening and choreographing to it, or all of the takes that were the final filmings that DIDN’T work. Al Roker has one. Many years ago on a segment talking about his health and wellness, he showed it off. This was before they were commonplace. Last night my boyfriend told me we were getting up at 5 am to stand in line for the Today Show and he pulled a homemade sign out of his luggage for me!   3. Tonight I channeled Julia Roberts in the red dress from the opera scene in Pretty Woman, for the @CHFManitoba #IceCrystalGala. Only my gown was blue, for the @wpgbluebomberscfl I wouldn’t have that look without Liz & the ridiculously amazing team at @davidsbridalwinnipeg who are now on Instagram. You should follow them for inspo, whether that’s for a holiday look or your wedding. My bling, shoes, gloves!❤️ and gown were put together on Liz’s suggestion and I loved it! . Hugs and kisses to @amramasicsabic from @gracehill_salon who came in on her day off to build this beautiful do. She researched the movie to get the hair and also pointed out that Julia Roberts hairstyle in the red dress is completely different in the hotel than the opera house. Same day, same dress, different hair. . Thanks to @jeannaleeartistry for the beautiful face and body makeup. It had been too long since we last spent time together so we caught up getting a glow on! Also, I loved texting asking if she had body makeup, of course she has body makeup! .   2. Two years sober from percs alcohol(1 slip up in 10 years) and blow on February 24th—who would’ve thought? Not me. If you told past me that I’d go two whole years without touching that stuff, I probably would’ve laughed in your face (or asked if you had any). But here I am, still standing, still thriving, and most importantly, still remembering what I did last weekend. Apparently, when you hit two years sober, the universe rewards you. I don’t know exactly how yet, but I’m expecting something good—like a check in the mail, a six-pack (of abs, not beer), or maybe just a really solid nap. Either way, I know I’ve already been rewarded with clearer skin, a functioning brain, and the ability to hold a conversation without grinding my teeth. To anyone out there struggling: it gets better. And to anyone still partying like I used to: take a nap, drink some water, and maybe reconsider. Life on this side is a whole lot funnier, way less expensive, and comes with a better memory. Here’s to two years and many more. Now, where’s my reward?

  3. ATTENTION: Hey guys. Well.... we got some bad news and some good news. Bad news January 30th will be my last day at @rehab4hair i appreciate everything the team and my boss have or has done for me but it was time for me break up with my boss. We had a long talk and she was so encouraging. She’s the best boss i ever had love you @cutsbycass as for the good news. I have decided even tho i didn’t want to. I got a space back in my old stomping grounds to cut hair. I said i never wanted a shop unless i got this specific space. Well 9 years later i finally got the opportunity to get the space so i did. I would like to thank everyone that made this happen and I’d like to thank all FUCKIN CLIENTS for supporting me and pushing me to do this!!!!

I appreciate all of you that have reached out to me with support and kindness. No one can know for certain what their future may bring. I never thought for a second our time here would be cut short under these circumstances. The past 8 months have been the hardest of my life. I struggled to come to terms with the situation. I struggled as a wife and as a mother under the stress. I didn’t want any of it to be true. This has been the only life I’ve known for a long time, and I am beyond devastated to have to leave here. I love this city, and the people in it. I had the best 8 years of Dustin’s NHL career here in Winnipeg. I am going to miss every second of Dustin playing here. I’ll miss these amazing girls who are some of my absolute best friends. I’ll miss the schools, activities, and sports for the kids. There is just something about Winnipeg that is different. People feel like, and treat you like family, and I’m so grateful to have experienced this. I will always be a Winnipegger at heart. Thank you so much to this city and the Jets organization for everything. Xo
