When I realized Mila only had hours left, we decided to take her home and surround her with favourite things : her small circle of humans , her favourite field (it was too cold for her to go in her swamp 😔) and a giant steak. She was too weak to walk so she enjoyed most of the outing in a wagon. She was able to hold herself up for a few last sniffs and her eyes LIT UP when she saw that steak. Thank you @bendthebracket for documenting these moments Eventhough at the time I was sure I wouldn’t want to remember them. I am so glad we have these special memories to hang on to ❤️ Note the eyes 👀 when she got a hold of that steak!

  3. If you don’t want your puppy <insert unwanted behaviour here> you need to show puppy what the alternative is. Here, we are showing Chase how to not run after and grab small and noisy humans ( a perfectly normal puppy reaction!) Sitting and watching pays! When you can’t implement this set up, puppy is behind a barrier where unwanted behaviour can’t happen. Just like with our 2 legged children, they won’t know how to act in society unless we show them and help them along the way. It’s not complicated and teaching doesn’t need to include power struggles. Make it make sense for all parties and they will soon be able to make the right decisions on their own without as much support ( but give it a couple years) 😉✌🏼♥️

  2. Look at our "new" backyard furniture! If they look familiar, yes, these are Gary's seats from the Rogers Centre (his summer home!). As most of you know, my husband Gary has been a HUGE fan of @bluejays since the beginning ('77). He's been a loyal seasons ticket holder since 1985 at #exhibitionstadium, moving to the #rogerscentre (formerly known as #skydome). We spent lots of great summers in these phenomenal seats, 10 rows behind homeplate! With the field level seat renovations, his section has become the new "Premium" seats. Everyone there was given the option of staying BUT at a substantial price increase. We respectfully declined this offer and will (disappointingly) be moved back to other available seating. We will miss our great location and seat neighbours, as most are also being relocated. Today, Gary picked up the seats, a #memorabilia to grace our backyard (not in the house as he suggested!). #MLB #torontobluejays #toronto #bluejaysbaseball #rogerscentre

  1. On February 15, 2015, the world was stunned by a poignant image of modern martyrdom. Islamic terrorists had captured 21 men several months earlier in Libya, pressured them to renounce their faith in Christ, and convert to Islam. The 21 refused to convert, and as a result, were brutally beheaded on a Mediterranean beach. Each year on February 15, Coptic Solidarity honors the sacrifice and memory of all modern Coptic martyrs. We remember the millions of Copts who struggle through each day as living martyrs, oppressed and subjugated by the Egyptian government and the society at large, for no other reason than their Christian faith. This year, we encourage all of our supporters to view a new short film, The 21 which is the creation of MORE Productions' founder, Mark Rodgers. This 13-minute animated film influenced by neo-Coptic iconography was created by a team of more than 70 artists from 24 countries, working in collaboration with the global Coptic community. As the film makers explain: “Until now, the ISIS video has been the only publicly available visual storytelling concerning the death of the 21 martyrs. Produced as a piece of propaganda, the video does not showcase the spiritual victory won by the martyred saints…The 21 film project aims to meet this need by presenting a more accurate narrative of the sainted men’s abduction, detention and execution.
