  3. 💙🧡 Felt like a princess in this outfit of my late Mother-in-law’s for South Asian night last month. The best part is telling my girls that I’m going to work dressed in something the reflects their culture. They’ll see this is a special, but also normal acknowledgment of their ancestry. We’re always looking for ways to celebrate their Indian side. I can cook (a couple 😂) Indian dishes. We listen to Bollywood songs, they know some words in Hindi, and we open up the cabinet that holds our Hindu God statues. But….I don’t come from that background. I don’t always know if I’m doing it properly. What I do know is that I’ve always felt welcomed and I’m proud to keep learning for my husband and my girls. Really grateful for this night 🧡💙
