  3. Where to go in Switzerland 😍👇 follow @travelwithdalt to see the world ✈️ Send someone you’d see Switzerland with in 2025!🇨🇭 Here are the spots you need to see in my FAVORITE area of Switzerland, Berner Oberland👇 🌄 Lauterbrunnen Valley Known as the “Valley of 72 Waterfalls,” this place feels straight out of a fairytale. Be sure to visit Staubbach Falls and Trümmelbach Falls, and take in the views from the nearby cable car to Schilthorn. 🚞 Jungfraujoch Called the “Top of Europe,” this is one of the most iconic day trips in Switzerland. Hop on the train from Interlaken and prepare for stunning glacier views. Don’t miss the Ice Palace at the summit! 🏔️ Grindelwald First This adventure hotspot is a must! Walk the First Cliff Walk, hike to Bachalpsee (4.3 miles, 800 ft elevation gain), and if you’re feeling daring, take the zipline down! 🍃Mürren The most picturesque alpine village. Stroll through its charming streets, take a cable car up to Allmendhubel for panoramic views, and try the Flower Trail hike for a relaxing experience. 🏞️ Interlaken The gateway to Berner Oberland. Don’t skip a cruise on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz. For a unique perspective, hike Harder Kulm for breathtaking sunset views. 💎 Oeschinensee One of the things on my bucket list that I missed on my last trip (due to some complications) 😭 ! This alpine lake is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland. Take a short hike (3.1 miles, 656 ft elevation gain) to the lake or rent a rowboat for stunning mountain reflections. Send this to someone who you’d explore Switzerland with! #switzerland #berneroberland #swissalps #lauterbrunnen #adventuretravel #bucketlist

  1. Whose etiquette should I fix next??? After my “how to hike like a real man” video, the reactions were… educational. Some of you shared thoughtful support. Incredibly, so many women shared scary, awful, and very real personal stories of trail encounters. And then there was a very loud minority who said: “I’m not doing any of this.” Which told me something important: We don’t just need one etiquette video. We need a series. Welcome to the next installment of: How to hike like a respectable human being. And today’s feature…The Bluetooth Speaker Hiker Look, I get it. Music is part of your life. But what most people don’t realize is that sound travels much farther outdoors than it feels like it does. What sounds “low” to you can carry hundreds of feet down a canyon especially in quiet backcountry environments. Which means when you blast music on a trail, you’re not just setting your vibe, you’re not just affecting your group…you’re changing the experience for everyone around you And often… for wildlife too. Shared trail = shared soundscape. If you want music: - One earbud - Low volume Or better yet…let nature do its thing. So, tell me in the comments: Who should be next in the trail etiquette series? Appreciate everyone who’s been engaging (even the spicy comments 👀). I’m still reading through your stories and feedback. And be sure to follow outdoorwiseliving for more trail-tested hiking tips so you don’t have to learn the hard way. #womenwhohike #trailtips #trailwisdom

  2. Most hiking injuries don’t happen on the way up…
They happen on the way down. Downhill hiking creates eccentric loading: your muscles are braking your full body weight instead of lifting it.
That creates more microscopic damage to muscles, tendons, and joints than climbing. Translation: You’re not weak.
You’re just hiking downhill wrong. Three rules that saved my knees across 300+ hikes in the past two years alone:
 • Shorter steps
• Slower cadence
• Trekking poles only downhill I use trekking poles because they offload up to 25% of knee force. Need some tips to pick out new poles? Here’s what to look for: 1️⃣ Be honest about your hiking style
Different hikers need different poles. Period. 2️⃣ Collapsible > fixed (for 90% of humans)
If you ever stash poles in your pack, travel, film, or hike mixed terrain, you must go collapsible 3️⃣ Aluminum vs carbon
Aluminum = bends, survives abuse
Carbon = lighter, stiffer, snaps when it hates you (I’ve had two break coming down waterfalls in the last year alone)
4️⃣ Flick locks or walk away
Twist locks fail when wet or dirty.
Flick locks save your wrists. 5️⃣ Cork grips or regret it later
Cork molds to your hand. Foam dies. Rubber gets gross.
 6️⃣ Straps aren’t decoration
If they’re flimsy, the poles are trash.
Use them right or don’t use them at all. 7️⃣ Tips + baskets
Carbide tips. Replaceable parts.
8️⃣ Weight doesn’t matter as much as comfort
A pole that slips or hurts your hands is heavier than one that weighs 3 oz more. Bottom line:
Buy poles that match your hiking reality, not your fantasy version of yourself. I use @blackdiamond but @leki.trailrunning @montemlife and @rei also make great hiking poles. Follow @outdoorwiseliving for more pro hiking tips and let me know if this helped you out! #hikingtips #howtohike #hikesmart

  3. everything we did in Patagonia in April👇🏻 Ok so, the biggest lesson we learned in Patagonia is: book as much time as you possibly can there because the weather is insane. It rained for 6 of our 9 days in El Chalten and we were afraid we weren’t going to see anything! Finally got a weather window and omgggg, it was amazing. Plus going in the fall means, less crowds, easier camping permits, colorful trees (the coolest trees) and slightly cheaper accommodations. In total we were there for about 22 days across the Chile and Argentina side from late March into early April! El Chaltén, Argentina: • Laguna de los Tres at sunrise • OVO Patagonia Via Ferrata Hotel (!!) @ovopatagonia • Laguna Cerro Torre (my favorite) • Laguna Capri • Camped at Poincenot Camp • El Chaltén sign • Sunrise 5 miles outside of town on the main road (rent a bike or grab a cab SO worth it) Puerto Natales, Chile • The cutest little town (also your gateway to the park) • Cold plunge in the Last Hope Fjord • Stay at a ranch: Estancia Peninsula • Took the bus from Puerto Natales to El Chalten Torres del Paine National Park, Chile: • Base of the Towers hike • Mirador Condor (best views) • Explora Hotel boardwalk • Ice hike on Grey Glacier • Do the W Trek (stay at Paine Refugio or Grey Sector) • The stretch between Grey & Paine = unreal • Ferry across Lago Grey Ferry across Lago Pehoé lmk if you have any questions! This area is SO CONFUSING. so happy to help! w/ @miss.rover #patagonia #chile #argentina #elchalten

  1. 😭😂😂 Y’ALL… the sheer TERROR. I have never been so scared in my entire life! 😭 ➡️ Send this to someone who needs a good laugh. 😂 So I was staying at an Airbnb 🏡 and the owner left me free tickets 🎟️ to a local Christmas light show in an envelope. I thought, oh fun, I love Christmas lights… let’s go!!! 🎅✨🎶 l didn’t do any research before heading out… it’s just Christmas lights, right? 🎄😅 I start driving through 🚗🎄, filming cute content for about five minutes 🎥✨, vibing out to Christmas music 💫 Then all of a sudden I take a turn and I’m on a DARK, deserted dirt road 🌑😳 No cars. No more Christmas lights. Nothing. My stomach DROPPED 😭💀 Next thing I know… I start seeing LIVE animals 🦌🐐😳 Like fully exotic animals staring at my car. I knew there was an animal park nearby, so I genuinely thought I had accidentally driven into some restricted back road or farm area I was NOT supposed to be in 🚫🌾. I was completely alone, totally confused, and absolutely terrified!! Nobody told me anything about animals and I personally did not see any signs. No warning. No food to feed the animals 🫠 Just me… my car… and animals surrounding me in the pitch dark 😭💀 I almost had a heart attack!!! As I kept driving (trying to find a way out 😅), I went through MORE animals 🐾🐾… and then suddenly MORE Christmas lights 🎄✨ Come to find out later — the animals are actually part of the experience 😳 WHICH would be totally MAGICAL… if you know ahead of time!!! 😂✨ For families, this would be such a fun and unforgettable night 🎄❤️. For me? I was completely caught off guard and truly traumatized for life 💀😂 I had my phone filming the lights, so everything you’re seeing is my real, raw, unfiltered fear!!! If you’d like to experience a drive-through Christmas light show with exotic animals, it honestly is a really cool and unique concept - especially if you know what’s coming!!! 😂 Please enjoy my sheer terror & I hope you laugh as hard as I have been while watching these videos back!!! 📍 Zootastic Park 448 Pilch Rd, Troutman, NC 28166 ✨Follow me @raleighwanderlust for more fun content!! #zootasticpark #northcarolina #nc #christmaslights #funnny #viral
