Harry Potter reading update ✨🪄📖 I’m currently reading the HP books for the first time ever, it’s bizarre to me that I never read these books despite growing up with them and the movies, my brother was one of those readers who would be so excited to come home from school on the day the latest HP book came out as he knew my mum/nan would have bought it for him and he would sit and read the entire book all day/night , while me, I’d wait for the films to come out😂 so crazy when you look now at who is the bigger reader!   3. happy monday✨🫶🏻☕️ yesterday I started Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, I can’t believe that I am onto the final book of the series!!! I started reading HP for the first time this year in September, after I read each book I have been also then been watching the film and my aim was to have read them all by Christmas this year and it looks like I’m going to be on track for this!🥹✨ I always thought that reading a book when you’ve already watched the movie or tv adaptation of it would make it lose its magic/enjoyment but I can confirm it absolutely has not had that effect; I’ve found these books just as magical reading them as an adult, having only ever watched the films.   2. AD | Bone-in pork chop, seared over the fire, finished with a blackberry and plum sauce made from what I could pluck off the hedgerow that afternoon. A splash of @thewandererwine Malbec went into the pan too - reduced down until it was dark, glossy, somewhere between a sauce and a jammy syrup. I first fell in love with Malbec whilst travelling across Argentina. So, for me this wine brings back a feeling of exploration, alongside its bold and full character, making it the obvious choice for a fire cooked meal off grid. I ate outside as the light dropped its golden rays through the tree canopy across the fields. Then settled into the bath, candles lit and the night sky above. The Wanderer’s new Veil Collection is built around exactly this. That thin line between the two halves of a day. For the spirits of the day & the souls of the night. A thoroughly enjoyable cook.
