Each personalised mug is made in their Stoke-on-Trent Factory, with each individual element of the designs being hand sponged by a talented group of craftspeople.   3. Today is the first anniversary of our eldest child Deborah’s death. Deborah came into the world full of energy and never stopped over the next 40 years. The past 12 months have not been easy but we remember with immense pride and love the amazing impact she had on so many lives and the incredible legacy she has left. We were young parents when Deborah was born and the first cuddles and touches with your firstborn are something you remember for ever and cannot be taken away from you - life with Debs was always interesting, fun, and manic but there was always a determination in her to help others achieve their full potential especially in her teaching career. When first diagnosed with Bowel Cancer it took us time to realise the seriousness of her diagnosis but we immediately knew she wanted to share her story with others to establish open communication about a subject that many considered a taboo - you will all agree she succeeded ! We followed and supported her work in the last 5 years of life but also remembered we were there as her ever loving parents and grandparents to her children. In what became very difficult times it was wonderful to see the immense love and support she received from her husband Sebastien and their children, her siblings Sarah & Ben together with the unwavering support of their families. During her final weeks at home the atmosphere was unique but most importantly loving - we all understood what the end would be, although I struggled to believe that Deborah was facing the end of her life that she loved so much, but there was a determination to enjoy every last minute and experiences we had together. Although I’m sure nobody expected that Prince William would join us for tea & champagne!! Deborah you always provided a challenge but it was your ability to put it in the right direction and communicate so brilliantly that made a difference. As your brother said on the eve of your funeral - from the beginning you taught me how to live - you had that effect on far more people than you ever knew and that is why you were so loved and are now so missed - Deborah we love you for ever. Place a handful of cashew nuts in hot water (enough hot water that’s covering the cashew nuts) and let it sit. Follow the boiling pasta instructions on the package. 2. In the meantime time sauté garlic and onion until the onions are slightly translucent. Add in the turmeric, salt, chilli garlic paste, tomato paste and mixed herbs. Mix that well and pour in the vodka on medium heat. Its should start to slowly burn off but keep mixing. 3. At this point, blitz the cashew nuts until it forms a cream consistency. Pour into the vodka mixture and mix well until it comes together as a creamy sauce.   3. I’m on a mission to document and archive what London, and the wider world, looks like in the 2020s before they gentrify it and suck the soul out of our homes. When I started my series ‘Travelling Around the World Without Leaving London’ in June 2025, I accidentally created a time capsule of what London looks like. I filled a 1TB hard drive in less than a year — that’s enough to hold 310,000 photos. I decided to create an archive, something that survives me, for researchers in the future. When people want to come to conclusions about London, the communities, and the society of the 2020s, I’ll have a library of primary sources that will be FREE to use for all. The first area I want to archive is Elephant and Castle. A huge Latin American hub, it’s being gentrified. I hate to say it, but the process is almost done. What used to be a thriving community with a big shopping centre is now mainly constricted to the shops under the bridge. Now sky-high homes have come in with ‘redevelopment’, with £500,000+ one bed apartments that barely any of us Londoners, particularly those from Elephant and Castle, can afford. We’re seeing the displacement of the community in real time. With these photos, historians in the future can come to their own conclusions about this community, and with a record of them, Elefante y Castillo will never truly die, no matter what happens. Chicken came out with a crispy skin and so juicy. Cooking to temp is a game changer in telling you. Homemade stuffing, cauli cheese and yorkies all done. Made some roasties, honey glazed carrots and parsnips, red cabbage, some leeks and broccoli, using the chicken juices to help with a gravy.   3. SUNDAY ROAST! Who’s having one today? This is one from ages ago! Deserves another go on the grid! I absolutely love cooking and eating a Sunday roast. It’s my favourite dinner. Everything here is homemade. The stuffing, cauliflower cheese, beef dripping spuds, honey carrots and parsnips, mash and Yorkshire puddings. There’s some tenderstem, red cabbage and pan fried sprouts. Now it’s getting colder, the roasts will be flowing! The beef was slightly overdone because I’d had a few beers. Tempeh: 1 block tempeh 1/4 cup pumpkin & sunflower seeds 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp maple syrup 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp garlic granules Pinch of salt & pepper Method: 1. Prep and blend all the pasta sauce ingredients, adding pasta water once the pasta is cooked 2. Cook the pasta (I used a pack of @allplants plants 215g red lentil pasta for 3 portions but you could use about 280g if you wanted to serve 4) 3. Chop, season and air fry the tempeh & seeds at 200°C for 8-10 mins 4. Stir the sauce through the pasta and heat gently 5.
