  3. The difference a year makes. This time last year I was in hospital having surgery that we hoped would improve my chances of fertility. Iโ€™d found out I donโ€™t have many eggs left, my ovaries are half the size they should be, I had extensive stage 2 endometriosis and my fallopian tubes were a mess. To top it all off, because I have so few eggs left, Iโ€™m heading straight for early menopause ๐Ÿ™ƒ I was just 33 when I was told all of this!! By some miracle, just as we were signing all the paperwork for IVF, we found out we were pregnant! Did you know 1 in 7 hetero couples will face infertility?! Why are we as girls not taught about this?!! Why arenโ€™t we prepared for the reality?! Instead we grow up believing that we will all get pregnant the first time we have unprotected sex ๐Ÿคฏ I know not everyoneโ€™s comfortable shouting about it, but I will continue to do so because we need to be better educated. #fertility #infertility #endometriosis #endo #ivf #menopause #earlymenopause
