  3. In today’s world we face many many challenges. A little over a year ago I made a post about having multiple versions of yourself and now i’m making a post about being yourself. As people we should build others up and not break them down. Now yes I know that we all make mistakes and have probably made this mistake a few times. It is normal, we are human. I want to make a point to say that God gave us our faces and our bodies for a reason. We are to love ourselves and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states- “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”. Our body is Gods temple. We do not need to break our temple or anyone else’s down with unkind words. Most people know in the past I have shown my body off but the reason behind my actions simply lie in the fact that I was self conscious and it seemed to me the only part of me anyone liked was my body. I now have a greater appreciation for myself and I am happy in my own “temple” face and body included. I want people to understand that it is okay to be proud of your “temple”. God gave it to you for a reason. But I also want to make others aware of the simple fact that the people who break others down are the reason most try so hard. They are the reason that people spend countless hours in the gym trying to get the “perfect body”. They are the reason people wear makeup to hide flaws and imperfections. They are self conscious. I have been there and I understand. Most importantly I want you to know that it is okay to love yourself inside and out, it is okay to love your “temple”. Do not let the unkind words break down your “temple” and make you self conscious. Let the kind words of others and the Lord build your “temple” up. Surround yourself with people who will build you up. If anyone ever needs anyone to discuss this with I am always here. Please let’s turn this cruel world around and build up and glorify everyone’s “temple”.❤️
