  2. If you’d told me 3 years ago when I started powerlifting that I’d be able lift over triple bodyweight and be closing in on a 230kg deadlift, I’d have laughed in your face. But Alhamdulillah, 230kg is getting closer and closer. 300kg is the ultimate goal though inshAllah! Makes me laugh that my first ever deadlift 1 rep max was 80kg. I was so embarrassed that I deleted the recording of it 😂 we all have to start somewhere though so don’t be discouraged! Bring on Monday, I’m coming for everything I used to tell myself I could never have.

  3. What I eat as a 39 year old dad to stay in shape all year round 👇 There’s nothing extreme, no magic foods, no cutting out everything I enjoy. Just consistency, structure, and hitting the basics day in, day out. 5am Double espresso ☕ 2 litres of water 💧 Hydration first, caffeine second. Simple. 12–1pm 6 eggs 2 slices sourdough High protein, decent carbs, keeps me full and fuels training. 2–3pm Pre Training Nutella on sourdough Squares bar Energy drink Because real life exists… and I’m not pretending I never eat “normal” food. Post training 50g protein shake Easy protein hit to support recovery and muscle. 8pm Varied meal Sometimes pasta. Sometimes chicken wraps. Sometimes steak, chips and sauce. Because sustainability beats perfection. No detoxes. No starving. No pretending I live on chicken and broccoli. Just structure, protein targets, hydration, and balance. And yes… this is what allows me to stay in shape at 39, run a business, train hard, and still enjoy life with my kids. If your diet feels chaotic, restrictive, or you keep “starting again” every Monday… That’s not a discipline problem. It’s a structure problem. And that’s exactly what I fix with my clients.   2. ..he faced each hurdle with a smile, with the fight of a warrior and the roar of a lion in his heart. He was created as one, unique, nobody else like him on the planet. He brought light and joy to everyone he met. He was loved beyond belief. He lit up my whole world. When the challenges became too much for his little soul, he laid in my arms and fell asleep into his real life, his eternal life. He now plays with his angel friends up above, smiling and looking down at me and his papi, filled with happiness. He was never meant for this world, but he came and made everyone happy so we could live to our full with him. He has everything he could ever want now.   3. Our last proper outing. My angel was so pleased with the fishes at @sealifebirmingham - fascinated by the blue water and different creatures. Observing, playing, laughing. He turned 2 that day, a birthday we never thought we'd get to see. Although we won't get to celebrate anymore of of his birthdays, we have priceless memories we will treasure forever. Fly with the angels my angel. Wait for us at the gates of the gardens of paradise on the day of judgement. Inshallah we will all enter our eternal life together with no seperation, no pain and no end in sight. Aameen 💙
